That item starts the Marauder's Mire access quest line. The quest line can be started, but not finished, as some of the items and spawns are missing.

Liveye duoed Faydedar for my driud's epic today, with a level 70 cleric from Ayonae Ro's uberguild, who had turned up for a step in her OoW epic, then walked right in to our fight. Looks like he found the most obscure corner of alla there is, but I'd like to record my thanks :)
Very sad how they destroyed this mob. Could have been really useful for a lot of paladins to get the book off of as well as the 3 other roaming dragons in kunark. I think all it does now is spawn and run to a mob that kills it instantly. Would have been fun if there was an actual mob to go with that skeleton in the firepot room and his warning...

Killed Faydedar today (Nov. 22, 2004) and he dropped the white-dragon pally book (frost covered something), along whith these scales, the satchel, bracer and 3 nice spells. Just FYI.
