The casino was added as a plat sink to drain some of the excess money out of the game, which was already getting out of control by the time Luclin came out. If everyone was guaranteed a prize worth at least as much as the price of the tokens required to play, it wouldn't solve anything. There have to be losers in order for plat to be removed or else it just increases the plat on the servers even more, which defeats the purpose of having a casino in the first place. Remember, you're gambling for the item you want, not buying it outright and some of those items are no longer available by any other means. You aren't going to get what you want on the first try unless you are very lucky.

I hailed the dealer on where to buy the token and he said buy a token from a waitress. Where in the bloody heck is the waitress? I ran around everywhere and no luck.
You can buy the tokens from Nayda Winterwind, at loc n22, p918, n76 in Shadowhaven.

After the patch when they brought the casino back i went there to see what all the hustle was, after payin 120p for each token, which is a rip off, all i won were some kabobs and some more tokens,they need to drop the price of the tokens to about 50p each, then i might play some more

Anyone consider that the Casino is a plat sink for the recent bank exploits and as such you'd be well advised not to put any money in that you can't afford to loose?
Oh wait, just like a real casino, but I guess we all have addictive personalities playing this game.

Where in Shadow Haven was it located? When it comes back i want to try it out

I tried out the casino while it was up. After spending 1K all I got was a pair of beer goggles to show for it. It has a nice summon beer effect but the casino needs some better prizes when it starts up again.

Well, after spending 4K Plat in there the day it was up. I have come to 3 conclusions..
1. They need to lower the token coast, or up the 'winnings' received.
2 They need to find a zone that is dead to put the casino into..
3. They need more dealers..

They need to put casinos in/near every starting city. This would get the idle population out of the Bazaar area and into under used zones, and create a steady flow of unwanted items into the hands of begging newbies.

I'm quite pleased that they came out with a casino. Sadly, I didn't know about it going live until it went "dead". Hopefully, they'll get it up and running soon.
