according to a post at the "Dew of the Hatchling" item, this is used in a tailoring recipe to make a Black Rawhide Tunic, along with a cured panther hide and potameid hair. This is to obtain the Jaggedpine druid breastplate, possibly other armor pieces.

Unfortunately - even if there is a quest associated with this (and several other items foraged in the same areas), no one know about it yet, or if they do - they have yet to post any info here. That is why there is nothing at the time of this writing up there in the "Quests" area regarding this item. It says

up there for everything... but that is a generic header to that section, it does not actually mean there IS a quest, unless something follows it with a hyperlink. I have been frustrated by the same misleading header before myself. Perhaps if there were a generic "NONE KNOWN YET" posted there untill replaced by actual quest info, this sort of thing wouldn't happen so often ;-)

While in Jagded Pine I also forage "Dew of the Hatchling" in the same quantities as I forage these. Anyone have a clue what they are good for?

Dew of the Hatchling is for a druid armor quest in Jaggedpine. I still have no idea what the sap is for!

What does this link have to do with Jaggedpine Sap? I went there and it was about another game. Probably reset my computer with spyware or something. Be warned that is has nothing to do with eq.
