Someone kept asking PC on this page and i told him ooc i would take a risk and give him a 100 for it. I checked later and he had it for that in trader mode. Anyways, after finding the value of this here, I had my father check it w/ identify and It wouldnt tell me if it was the left or right side! Am I just going to cross my fingers and try for the Remove Greater Curse w/ someone? How can you tell them apart?!

When people ask for a price check, they're looking for the value it generally sells for.
If it normally sells for 10's of k, it's not nice to say 100pp even if that's what you would pay.
Unless you at least say you have no idea what it usually goes for.

I just reserched this spell today for my Wife's Char...(lvl 65 Druid on Rallos. I reserched it with my Magician who is max'd in his reserch skill.. Took forever to get Yaeth's 73 right, and when i did find it i had to give 10K for it.. But on the other hand i have never seen RGC for sale or a char with the spell, only items with the effect...
Anyone whom wastes this component on PE or even argues in that favor needs to get their head examined...PE is just about worthless post 60 as most melee can cap stats np with various shaman buffs. While RGC is rare as heck from Rhag 1 and/or Arch Lich Only...if you want PE that bad, make an RGC and trade it for PE I assure you a ton of people will go out to find a PE for you or camp it for you just to trade it...of course you can get a ton more then that for it if you desire ;)

Well now with all the Remove Curse line of spells for sale with Adventure Points from LDoN, Primal Essence my actually make it worth it. Shaman like the PE spells cause it last longer than Avatar, cost less mana, and doesn't use an Emerald. Yes it doesn't have as high stats as avatar, but like you said most people can cap out thier stats high end, but that extra 20 is nice to fill in the dex or agi that isn't quite capped out. Not everyone has the best gear.
Just FYI This page also drops off Phenogal Atropes (sp) in Kedge...but we all know he never drops what you want him to so i'm guessing it's a rare drop 8)

Are you sure it was the right side? We were there recently and got 3 copies of the left half, but no rights.

We got it from the hole also from a golem.
About a month ago I got one of these, also from The Hole. Ours dropped from a female Erudite ghost in the "undead tower".
This page is a critical component in both of these spells. I have ssen PE for sale for 20kpp in the bazaar on Saryrn, and I have only seen remove greater curse once, and it was going for 100kpp. If you are into this for the greed, remove greater curse would be the most cost beneficial, but as someone who knows many who need PE and RGC, I plan on harvesting pages for both. The mist of povar for PE is a common drop of Gaelor's in PoJ and oozes in PoD (following left wall from GY). Only saw this page selling once for 10kpp. Too bad I am not rich; otherwise, I would have bought it.

Honestly as a 52 shaman I would much rather have Primal Essence first. I had a friend selling Remove Greater Curse for 60k on my server and there were a few /ooc's making fun of her for asking so much. I didn't appreciate the things they said but now i appreciate the info they gave. I have never used my previous remove curse spells before. and I probably won't need to use remove Greater Curse for quite a few levels. but by that time comes I will only need it for raid mobs who have pretty scary curse dots. and a shaman is not stupid enough to go on a raid as the only healer = ) chances are high that at LEAST one of the other priests on the raid will have this spell. and if they don't... there will be more than enough rezzes to go around.
Actually on Torv RGC doesn't seem to be so rare there are usually several for sale in the Bazar. However I have never seen PE for sale, and have never met another shaman without it that doesn't want it. And the RGC line is available thru LDoN points

The remove curse line offered in ldon is only equal to that of the previous dropped-only "remover minor curse" -- In raid situations where *only* remove greater curse will unblind all your melees, ldon points are pretty worthles... hehe
I bought "remove lesser curse" for about 2k, and if you look up the spell descriptions, it does the same exact thing as "remove curse" sold in LDON -- but you have to be higher lvl before you can scribe the ldon-only version.

Yes But the counters on remove curse are not what the counters on RGC are. RGC removes 45 counters at once. Not sure what RC removes but its not 45 counters.
I think Primal Essence drops in Ssra. So if you can go into Cazic to get this piece, you might as well go into Ssra and get PE off the mob.
Just as a note, I saw PE on sale in Bazaar once for 2k.

On the other hand I have seen Remove greater curse on sale in the bazaar but have never seen Primal essence in the bazaar so I have no idea how much PE would sell for. Plus PE would be cast by a shaman a lot more than greater curse so decide for yourself what spell to make.

Also used for the shaman spell Primal Essence. Eqtraders.com has a drop list by zone for this and others, but mobs that drop it are not really known
Not anymore. EQTraders just says it drops off too many mobs for them to be able to list

I am a 53 shaman lookin for a place to solo to find this ingredient for Primal Essence. If anyone knows where this could be found plz let me know
