These are FAR more common in the tower.
Clearing the rain wing, I'd be lucky to see 1 in 5 clears. Do the Ice tower and you should get a couple each time.

Trying to do Artisan's Prize tasks, and this drop is really rare, not uncommon.
If you are an armor making Tradeskiller and would, or would have liked to, buy this item at the bazaar… What price would you be willing to pay for the convenience of buying all you need in one shot? What would you pay so you wouldn’t have to farm them? Would you consider checking the bazaar for this item at all or would you go right to farming them yourself? Have you ever bought them at full stacks of 20, or do you only buy them in smaller amounts, and like, how many at a time? Is Hurricane Temper still being made and used at all?

Had 2 drop in one hour at the Oreen camp.

Had two drop within five minutes of each other. We got really lucky.
Guess my group was lucky today...we saw 4 drop in 2 hours

Ok this is a bit ridiculous... For the legendary plate gloves you need about 6 tempers for pre combines.... these things are so damn rare... So stupid, makes you want to quit the game!

From my experience in BoT. This is a somewhat rare drop off the giants in the East wing. Have seen it drop three times this past week, only from random East wing giants (non-named).
Uses: Used to make Hurricane Temper. Temper is used for Hurricane Plate, Chain, and Stormrider leather armors.

this is used in tradeskills. specifically, i only know of hurricane chainmail. check the stats and head over to eqtraders if you want to know how to make it.

A vann hellig, one of the first mobs in the east wing. Appararently just a tremendously rare drop.

I have seen this drop twice in the 2 months or so i have been xping in bot. I got 1 time sold for 3k in bazaar second time i lost roll. random drop not off named necessarialy. very rare drop

Was the first guild * on my server * to step into this zone and one of the first people out of that guild to do so and I've seen it drop 3 times total since being there. I think MAYBE they need to up the drops on it a tiny bit.

This dropped off the Named Watergiant in BoT. Only time i'd ever seen it. Wish i had known what it was for.

Can anyone tell me whether this can be foraged or if a drop, which of the giants drop it?
