This sword is so unbelievably rare, most druids won't see one. In total we probably did MM about 20 times, we got a total of 3 swords...Unfortunately I'll never get this sword
we dropped him tonight and he dropped 2 of these,you would think the "lord of all paladins" would drop a pally weapon...

if another pally weapon dropped, there would be even more pi$$ed off people than there already are, enough pally only weapons drop as it is :)

Don't think its that rare, theres 3 or 4 druids in our guild that have it. and we've done MM 6 times, maybe 7
I just recieved this item last night on LMM raid on Zeb server(Thanks Frog Rompers). I know it has been said before, but this is clickable from inventory and EVERY druid needs this!!
Blade of the Tempest = 75/tic
Nature walkers Scimitar = 55/tic
Rowyl's Bracer of Nature = 34/tic

Total Damage per Minute = 164/tic (Mana Free)
This plus the other dots makes you a great damage dealer either soloing or grouping. I reccomend spending the DKP on this item!

Ok i have never been on a flag raid b4 so please excuse me if i sound like a total newb, but what does it mean when someone uses the term DKP like Archangyl did, "I recomend spending the DKP on this item". What does that mean please.

DKP is Dragon Kill Points and its the currency used to buy items on guild raids. The higher your dkp, the better your chance at getting an item.

Sword is usable for clicky dot from inventory slot if you so desire. I still carry epic because this graphic is so damn ugly.

Honestly, any druid who can get this, either has had their epic for quite some time, or can probably solo all but 2 of the epic mobs, and one group those ones.
The whole point is MANA FREE DOTS!!!
A druid with this, plus epic, plus a clicky drones of doom (ES vambs, Thurg bracer) can do a nice chunk of damage over time in a grind group, without even denting their mana pool.

Won this the other day on an LMM raid. Decent damage, fast casting and mana free dot. Comparable stats to epic as well, though the epic has somewhat better saves.

You can add the Sporecaller from High Priest of Ssraeshza.
Imagine that: Blade + epic + drone + sporecaller = the ownzor !

I was wondering if druids had forgot about the Sporecaller too. One of the best ranged items a druid can get, pre elemental that is.

Its NOT equippable in secondary slot ..in fact its not even listed as being secondary .i have it ..and its not ......

Can some person who has one of these swords let us know if it is equipable in the secondary slot please?
Theoretically IF druids could dual wield this could be put in the secondary slot but since they can NOT dual wield this is a primary only item since it is druid only.
if it was druid only and couldnt go in secondary why the hell would secondary be listed??
This scimmy is why I hope my guild keeps killing MM. I think the 2nd one that drops would be mine :D. Better than the blood mace by far.

Might not tank with it, but it is fun to smack stuff with it every now and then. What makes it even more cool, is that the effect is clickable from an inventory slot
Stranger things have happened. Seems to me though that Marr borrowed this from Karana, at least it'd make more sense for Karana to have it (tempest=storm...)

I've offhanded a piercing dagger just fine with an AoN going for my "sorry no SoW here, just a necro" look , you can not *melee with it in secondary, but you can probably equip it.

You cannot wield a weapon in your secondary slot as a Druid. What you may be recalling is the "Parrying Dagger". It is a shield with a dagger graphic. I also used to use one. Worn with a full visible set of gnomeskin and you look like a Rogue. :)
Yea normally you can't dual wield, but I really wouldn't doubt if you could equip this is secondary as a druid.

It seems they are coming out with a lot of items that are shown as pri/sec for classes who cannot duel wield (there is a cleric drop off one of the zeks labled just as thoughtfully so the cleric gave it a go to see if sony was going to let us *gasp off hand a stat item with an effect and not use it as a melee) It seems they got lazy with the coding which is really sad as much effort as they could/should have put into PoP. I think if it is a clickable item you should be able to put it in pri/sec/range to use the effect and stats of the item, I guess I was expecting more out of the lot of them :P

to dual wield a weapon, 1 must have the dual wield currently as to my knowledge, druids do not

There are some other items in the game that I can personally say are tagged Primary/Secondary equipable with only non dual-wielding classes listed, and from my experience with all of them you can not equip them in your offhand. Only one that I remember right now is the Rod of Insidious Glamour. But, I could be wrong, never know what else may pop up in the planes. Could someone who actually has 1 comment on this?
you can equip any item without a damage and delay in your secondary slot so that you could look like you are duel wiedling even though youre not because the weapon youre using cannot hit your enemy so basically its serving the same function as a shield.

Math skills are good, m'kay? 2mins = 20 ticks, not 40. Making this only (*cough*) 1500 free damage. Anyhow, Scimi of the Naturewalker remains owned, this has 20/tick higher damage. Grats Fritti :)

Actually...if you take a look, it says it can be equipped in either primary or secondary. Therefore, if this is true, you could weild both and look like a ranger :) and if both effects stacked that would be some great dmg.

I doubt this can be equipped in either melee. It says that but so do some pal/sk 1-handers (I.E. Sword of Morning.) Hell, if I could use that in secondary along with my Frostwrath in primary I'd be dealing some nice melee dmg.

Doesn't Stack with with any of the drones series...hmm 75 damage per tick or 143/240 damage per tick...i'll opt for the latter

It does 75 magical damage per tick for 20 ticks at level 40+. 1500 damage in 2 minutes, 0 mana cost, 4 second cast time.
