Rumor is that Prismatic weapons have been nerfed on Test Server. They now proc something else, while the old Primals still proc Avatar as always. Can anyone conferm or deny this?
So, it's a BIT after this original post, but the devs on Test changed us to ST 2.0, but the weapons are still the same. The only difference is what it is called:
ST 1.0 = primal ...
ST 2.0 = ancient prismatic ...
The procs and stats are exactly the same.
Ahh, level 53, almost at the level I can start getting some of this stuff.

Rurmor of this weapon being nerf on test? We havent even waken sleeper yet to have these weapons.

Wow... anyone with a primal wep can now dual wield like a primal warsword and an ancient prismatic warsword

OMG this is nice weapon, imagine, avatar is a 100 hp, dex, atk, and agi buff, proc it once and with 100 bonus dex it will proc like nonstop!
The proc on this doesn't add 100 HP, it adds 100 STR.

Does this mean no more primal weaps drop and now its called Ancient Prismatic ? Gah lame
Not to mention that on servers where the sleeper had already been awakened this actually makes the zone fun and useable again.
Primal was already either not dropping or dropping extremely rarely. This is basically the same, just with a different name. Primals are a "status symbol" item - those that have one, have the status. There's nothing wrong with this, so I'm not sure why you are calling it lame.
I don't think primal will become a status symbol now that it's been replaced, it'll just be a 'hey neat, you were there before the patch' kind of thing.. maybe you can brag to newbies about it.. but i don't think it'll be a 'omg you've got primal.. i just have this ancient prismatic pos'

Yeah even a step further, every time I see someone with a primal I wonder if they were one of the jerks who helped wake the sleeper. I just want Avatar proc.. call it a "primal", and "ancient prismatic", or "Silly Ogre needs better gear so he doesn't need this proc weapon" I really don't care!
