Drops from ring of fear or slime, the one where the golems spawn and walk around, waves of other mobs, and can hand in some item to the quest NPC to renew health/mana. Ring came from one of the golems during the event.

Is there anyone who actually has seen this drop or has any information that could help on rate of drop, mob, area, or anything that doesnt pertain to who it goes to.
Magelo has this item's haste as 33%. Even without the haste, the hit points and AC you get on this baby make it a melee's dream, and high level players will certainly pay top dollar for a ring that is 6 AC and 25-45 hp better than the good old 6/65. The fact that it doesn't match the 36% haste max that appears to exist for tradeable items will likely its price from going super-ballistic, but I'd pay 50k or more for it.

I generally have a healer by my side though and I gotta love my lifetaps. Include this ring along with my high delay 2hsers and I could greatly increase the possible damage output reducing the amount of mana my healer has to use on me to keep me alive. Fungis are great for downtime, but I'll probably never get one...maybe one of the lesser versions like an ikky bp that only costs 10k, but I'd personally rather have the haste item instead if it were a choice between the two.

Can someone explain the recommended level rating on this ring? I thought that the Haste effect would be given to any wearer regardless of level. If that is true, then what does the recommended level of 51 mean?
Recommended Level means a kind of Minimum level Not to equip but to use the full stats. Anyone of lower level using the item will result in a temporary reduction of the items stats.
Ex: A 51 lvl Character - Ac 12 A 10 lvl Character - Ac 3 (example not exact)
The other stats could be reduced too. Not sure if the Haste Rate is lowered too.
sorry to correct you, but as far as i know all items dropping in CT have a recomm lvl of 51, and are not wearable by people lower then 51 (and yes, the stats on the items are less as well, but nowadays you can see the final stats as well)

The Tae Ew items are required 51 and I think the Tox axe, recommened like this item is like the guy posted before you lowered stats not not-wearable

wrong. i have personally verified with a toxiferous axe and a ranger below level 51 that that axe (which drops in CT) is NOT equipable if you're not 51.

Kills me how the "upity folk" and/or dreamtrashers say things like "which means 99% of you will never see it" ... they must be "neuveau uber" (or wanna-be's) that started playing AFTER velious. History has shown the people who say those things are wrong - it's only a matter of time. They said the same thing even about seb, ToV, VP, etc. Of the three just mentioned, there is only one that ISN'T overcamped by everyone and their brother/sister/mother/father/uncle/etc. is hardly camped at all because it isn't worth the drops.

Posted:Jul 23 2002 at 11:44 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well...this isn't PoA, or uber Luclin, so its not 41% haste. This isn't a dragon zone, so not 36% haste. There are haste items dropping here that are 31% haste. I'm guessing this is one of them.

I was going to say that Rangers especialy would love this ring, since it has everything important to them. But honostly, all melees will pay a high premium for this beauty, even though the +50 mana is wasted on monks/warriors/rogues.

I too thought SK right away but I can see it going to any melee/hybrid (this Ranger included) =), though as previously mentioned the mana goes to waste on a Warrior, Rogue, Monk. Still a very nice item either way and probably going to fetch a pretty penny... Anyway, just my 3 1/2 cp... =)
