He died tonight on Maelin. Dropped the Grodan's Flowing Cape. 65 Cleric and I smoked him without a hitch. The hardest thing is getting him singled.

He spawned today in the building in the middle of the lake. He dropped the cape. He is a SK but doesn't summon.

59 druid, (ME ) and a 60 wisard took him down today Dropped the cloak which we gave to Ranger in the guild, Honestly I think I could have solo'd this Mob not very tough just alot of HP. You can solo if you have good resists to resist his dooming darkness attempts etc...just snare and Epic WD Fire Debuff and Breath of RO , till dead.

Killed him Saturday Morning around 10:30am pacific on 7/27/02. Dropped Grodan's Flowing Cape.
K guys we kiled him tonite with a full group and one extra man. He can be done with 4 people though. All you need is a pally to target him off the hill by the lake. with SoW and lev run as high as you can till you get a little past him and do a simple stun. Cease is the one I like. You'll get a HT maybe 2 but if you have ran leving over the house you should have only got him to argo. I didn't even need DA or LoH to handle him. Pull him to the UP zone and have everyone in the group but snarers wait in UP. You get near the UP zone just run in circles till he litteraly drops on top of you. DA if you need to but you MUST have the ranger SK druid Necro snare him, and him alone. Zone and wait about 25 seconds and when you come back you'll find him standing at the zone by himself or stuck in a wall moving slowly. Just kill him by normal means then. Hes cake. His HT is 1001 points of damage and his melee attack is weak for his lvl.
He can be slowed and I don't believe any snares got resisted but we had a chanter tash him just in case before the snarers casted.

I was just sittin in Maidens eye by the entry and saw him spawn. Intresting though that I coned indiffrent to him, could it be that I was a dark elf or is it like that to everyone?
tried camping this dork w/pickup groups for abo 3 weeks... successfully pulled/killed ph abo 15times had him spawn once.. and he dropped the range idol... he's a weakling like all the other me rares, hits for abo 200 but is slowable and imo about as hard as a normal centien w/more hps. he's not worth really camping b/c of how rare he is, heh 3 weeks to loose on a suck idol, hell i should have just camped hg's and bought a cloak 8p

I have killed his ph about 15 times now... The Xi Vius and have yet to see him spawn. Its getting quite frusterating. Either he is a SUPER rare spawn or the took him out. Or maybe he is like lord grimrott and wont spawn if you kill the ph. Has anyone actually camped him and seen him spawn?

Lord Grimrot spawns...period.
Doesn't matter what day it is, if you jump up and down and do a jig at 2am game time, wearing pink underwear while playing EQ, etc.
Grimrot is a random spawn on a timed spawn.

Hiya guys i cleaned the last room in the 2cd floor for 5 round or a bit more and he didn't spawned.... Do it s right the last room or not? do it s just a rare spawn? Do he have PH or just have to wait for him to spawn? some infos about that would be helpfull thx u :)

me and a friend pulled this guy pretty easily now, friend (60 pally) goes into house, DA's and runs to zone. 15 mobs or so chase him, and i singly tag xi thall.

has idol of the fallen been nerfed b/c my friend has been looking for it for weeks and WEEKS staying killing gorangas and umbrous toilers and everything and hasn't gotten one any info plz?

Posted: Jan 26 2002 at 1:32 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) dont pull him with a full house spawn even if your a monk i tried about ten times and i knew how and boom the hole house HT me for about 8k damge your best bet is to clear house out when the house is empty then go pull him even if his harm touch does about 1k its worth it cuz the nice stuff

Rangers can also use this very nice cloak ..had one drop today and made me a very happy Ranger ..we had no pally/sk made things even better hehe..
