Spawns five Animated Decorin Blades once engaged, which instantly respawn when killed. The Animated Decorin Blades are rootable. They do NOT immediately despawn upon Tagrin's death, you must kill them or wait.
Being a stupid Mage, I spawned the Essence of Fire, then walked in to find this guy up along with the mob I was there to kill. Given I didn't have a Merc up or one of the box characters, let's just say there was a dark greasy spot on the floor and one very unhappy player.
Bah this mob is nothing i Tanked him while boxing my Enc and my cleric had a bard kiting the adds around mob want down easy cleric only healed me about 4 times total overall he is an easy mob well if ur in time gear to others might not be so easy
Just tried this guy a few hours ago. His adds were the only problem we had. I couldn't seem to get them off our healers to kite them.
I pulled the mob and ran him to where we were going to fight him, but only 2 of the adds came to me. Next thing I know 3 more are on the healers, and I couldn't get them off even when casting tash 4 times per mob.
Can the Animated Decorin Blades be retriggered by mem blurring this guy, waiting for him to heal all the way back up and reengaging? Do they spawn when he's a specific health percentage or at a specific interval? Or once he's engaged as the texted above indicates? If they spawn once engaged, can a monk engage and FD, kill the blades, and have the monk reengage and FD again, etc, etc, rinse and repeat? The blades drop the Ore needed for making the Zek bane weapons is why I ask.
He spawns past the Armorer / Supplier area at the end of the hall. Their is a large room with some mobs in it, some KOS some none KOS. In the back of that room there is another room with a forge and him in there. As you pull him though (he is leashed or was last I rememeber) he will proc the swords you see in the pictures. I do not remember how hard he hits or how hard the swords hit or if they are mezzable. The swords drop the metal you need for the RZ bane weapons (if they still are used due to the fact you do not need bane weapons on RZ anymore}
Like with glyker or whatever, just mez/kite the swords with one group, have a full group just on crowd control, and have one to two groups on just full melee/dps.. prolly need 3 healers /shrug

Anyone have a decent strategy for beating this guy without zerg forces? My guild has tried him a few times and gotten close to winning with just 12 member raids...blades get our healers everytime. Any suggestions?
He is 1 group doable. We did him with 5. 2 Healers, good tank, good kiter, and Enchanter with charmed pet.
Clear the wraiths and elites. Split the elite out of his room and kill him. Have you kiter pull Tagrin and his 5 swords, while rest of group moves into his room. Tag Tagrin from kiter pulling him back into his room and engage while kiter kites the swords.
