update to my last post. I found that she seems to spawn more frequently off the roaming seawitches that pass on the right side of the static spawn of Maiana and the other static seawitch spawn. My routine ended up being 1) kill the roaming scallywag that paths by the base of the sandcastle in front of Maiana. 2)Split Maiana from the static seawith on the rock to her right and kill her.3) Kill the static seawitch. 4) Then kill the roaming 2 seawitchs that pass near Maiana on her right. Once Maiana was split I kept track of her spawn times. She is on a 6 minute timer. All the other mobs are on a 17 minute timer. I always timed the Maiana kill so I would not have to split her off the other witch and lose time on every spawn. I also timed the scallywag spanw so I would never get him as an add when I pulled the other mobs to the base of the sandcastle on the beach there.Static witch on rock off to left of Maiana never popped Persion so I just left her alone. Kills 8 and 9 she dropped the Enthralling Barrier and my druid and shammy got them. Thank god I am done with that beach. I will never go back.
While killing the roaming seawitches by Maiana and the static one on the rock next to her I had a roaming Persion come up from one of the roaming seawitches I killed. It may be that any of the seawitches can spawn her. Killed her 4 times, 3 off the static spawn, 1 off a roamer. Dropped Gem of the Biting Depths all 4 times plus remnants of desire and truth. It took 17 spawns before she popped this morning.
We got her to spawn twice from " a seawitch " that was standing static next to " Maiana the Chanteuse " which is used for a quest credit kill. She re-spawns faster then the regular trash, so plan accordingly to get the spawn broke. A few roamers to deal with also. She dropped Enthralling Barrier the first time we killed her, then Gem of the Biting Depths the second time. GL
