I soloed this gal today. Level 75 Ranger, 986 AA, 13.763 K HP, 2.710 K AC. Gear was from Ikky in GOD, and up to Vule in DODH. Disease resist was about 400. I had Dead Men Floating so not truly a solo, but I doubt that tipped the balance in my favor. I had no other outside buffs.
Rhag`Zhezum (AKA I believe Rhag 1) spawned between 14 and 22 hours after the zone came up. She is located in a room off the path to the basement on the first floor. She was an easy solo. Immediately on her death, Rhag`Mozdezh (AKA Rhag 2 I believe) spawned, along with four grey to level 75 rhags, who were in a room on the second floor, in the south west corner of the map. There was a trap in the hall way just before her room, which had serpentine curse on it being triggered. Rhag`Mozdezh didn't cast this on me that I saw, but I was thinking about other things so may have missed it if she did. Ranger spell Potameid Salve Rk II removed this on the first cast each time I got it. Rhag`Mozedzh didn't despawn in the hour or two I took to get there (lots of mobs along the way, and I went back to POK to unload loot and eat breakfast, etc.)
I cleared the four grey to 75 rhags in the room. I managed to aggro Rhag`Mozdezh in the process, but she appears to be permarooted, and since I didn't damage her, there wasn't a blessed thing she could do about it. I rebuffed, medded, and debuffed the boss a bunch of times. I got the message she is immune to changes in run speed when I tried to snare her. (Does it matter if she can't be snared?) I medded some more. Then I engaged. It was a pretty boring fight. She Rampaged, Enraged at 10%. I didn't check to see if she summoned or saw invis. I don't remember if she flurried. I got the Breath of Rhag'Mozdezh a bunch of times, and at first cured it easily with Potameid Salve Rk.II every time I tried, but she cast it frequently enough to make me stop curing it. The longest I went without getting it was about 20 seconds. I resisted it a bunch of times, but it lasts long enough that I had it for basically the whole fight. On her death I had used a few heal pots to save on mana, cliked my epic 2.0 three or four times, and used Auspice of the Hunter RK. VI once. I didn't use any discs. THe fight took about 15 minutes, and I had near full health and 50% mana left. I took a few of the spells, but most of the loot rotted.
Immediately on her death, Arch Lich Rhag`Zadune two LB to 75 rhags, and two grey to 75 rhags appeared on track. I assume that these are all on the third floor.
I killed her again today. Sure enough she sees invis, and summons, but does not flurry, and did not cast serpentine curse, but the trap in the hall to her cast serpentine curse on the way in. The fight was mildly tougher than before, and I finished with 1% endurance (even though I used no discs), 40 % mana, and full health. I only used one HoT pot though. The Breath of Rhag `Mozdezh spell which I had on me most of the fight was cureable at the end with three casts of Cure Disease from my Shield of the Immaculate. I checked my log, and even with self buffed disease resist of 395, I took 273 damage per tick for the few ticks I checked. I would assume the endurance hit was about 100 per tick, which is what Alla says on the description of the Breath of Rhag `Mozdezh spell. Given a starting endurance of 9799, I guess the fight took about 97 ticks, or about ten minutes. Scrolling back through the portion of the log from the last third of the fight or so, max hit was 491, a few more hits were in the three and four hundreds, but most were in the 150 to 250 range. Single hits were most common, doubles were occasional, and the only triple was associated with a rampage. Some of my buffs were dispelled during the fight, but I ended with most of my buffs intact. This was an entirely solo fight, with no buffs from anyone else.
Based on what I have seen of the Crypt Guardians on the third floor, I don't think I will be soloing the Arch Lich anytime soon. These guards on the way in have a huge aggro range, hit fast, and hard. I think there are four guards in the room with the AL which I would expect to be even tougher to solo than the crypt guardians as a mass aggro situation. If I pulled and killed all the guards, I suspect I would still have to deal with respawns.
The Arch Lich was up when I started this fight, and was still up at the end of the fight. He did not respawn on the death of Rhag 2.
Soloed him today on my cleric also. Mostly Anguish/demi geared. 13.6/2700ish AC self buffed. Vow of valor + Ward of reprisal owns now. Never healed once. Killed all the other rhag's as well, exlcluding Arch Lich. Got him to 85% or so before I gave up, going back when I have more time to do him, it's gonna take over an hour easy, but can be done.
Duoed last night, 70 mage and 68 enchanter.. Very mana intensive fight, would not have been able to do it without jester replenishing my mana a couple times...
Fight was 18.5 minutes with bard playing mana song entire fight with all clerics, shaman, and pally in same group. 65 ranger was on rampage the entire fight with 1 dedicated cleric healer. Mob cannot be slowed but can be crippled. Fight took so long because none of us had shissar bane weapons and this guy mitigates your damage like a son of a gun. Next time will bring more friend and get some bane weapons so this sucka falls faster. We did not have the guards spawn on us the entire fight so I don't know what's up with them =)
We took out this guy with the same strat as Rhag 1, we took out the adds and got the pally to stun him over and over for about 3 minutes, and also casting blind, getting him huge aggro, once he called assist all the melee hit hisback, pally got summoned a few times, but alot less healing and no deaths, pretty easy, lots of hp
Took Rhag Moz down last weekend. Not too bad, HP's took a while to knock back and his rages were a little annoying. I got killed being a bard : ) Just try to make sure MT holds aggro cuz his rages can ping pong on alot of people causing trouble. He dropped Gloves of Control, The smouldershank, The glowing orb and maybe something else for us. Easily taken down with 4 to 5 groups 55+ good people with good strategy. Not hard to get to either.
HP: around 200k Hits: 575 max Flurries: nope Rampages: yes Slowable: nope (?) Perma-rooted Procs: see above Spells: Penetrating Roots
Did him with 14 people on Firiona Vie (average level 61) on a guild raid. Got two clerics on CH and a druid spam healing. Two shammies healing the rampage tank. Fight lasted about 9 minutes, we didn't debuff him prior to fight. All casters (plus healers) should position themselves in the corners left and right of the ramp leading up to him or behind the pillars (don't float or the proc hits you). AE proc easily passed our Disease Resistance of around 400 (got a bard singing resistance song). Shammies tried to slow him in vain. =/
No he cant be slowed for sure. We killed him last night and he was immune to it. Resisted all my poison dots even afer chanter tashed and I maloed him.
