Also, he casts "Balance of the Nameless" throughout the fight to debuff himself. Noticed it isn't listed in his Effects Used list. Thought that was odd that it had never been brought up or listed yet.

This is done at 75%, 50% and 25% hp when he loses a head.
i cleared all of time with a 85 sk, 85 zerker (boxed by friend) 85 monk and 85 shammy (boxed by me) and my wimpy 65 shammy to gear him up.. i barely healed the SK cus of his life taps... easy now a days
dureing the dragons dragons dragons event made it to quarm helping a freind get the aug which he knew nothing about , hes a 79 ranger and im a 85 beast. Anyway went into face Quarm fully expecting to get our butts handed to us but with us 2 and our cleric mercs managed to very slowly wittle him down.
nah he isnt soloable i can guarntee that.. for one u need a fair amount of DPS to get to him since time is on a timer and he still takes at least a group... for the dragons dragons dragons quest that is out with the 10th year anniversary he is the 10th out of the 21 dragons you have to kill.. with 2 ppl 2 boxing and 2 mercs we took him down.. group conisted of 76 mnk (me) 78 bst (me) 85 pally and 85 shaman (both of those 2 were my friend's).. we still had a hard time but we did kill him... and just gonna say a few things.. the dragons dragons dragons quest is for the most part just as hard as normal granted a few exceptions... none effects quarm so hes just as hard in the dragons quest as he is in time... mercs are only allowed in this instance as none of the mobs in the dragons quest drop anything other then some dragons drop spells and mobs drop pp but in most other zones mercs will not be allowed... in normal plane of time b mercs wont be allowed... and like i said hes just as hard so he does still summon adds and lose 1 head every 25% hes hurt
forgot to mention he was the one with the mercs out so they were both 85.. we had tier 3 tank and tier 3 cleric altho the tank died when quarm was at about 60%
85 ranger, 85 cleric box and two cleric mercs did the living legacy version. I play the ranger well, but he's about SoF raid / SoD group gear, while the cleric is wearing baz gear. It was a long and boring fight, but not terribly difficult. I suspect he can be soloed, but I guarantee it would take Hours.
i really doubt he can be soloed by any class as of yet.. it would at least take a duo because u need a solid tank and healer.. and the real one cant have mercs used on him while the living legacy version u can.. and also u need some major DPS to even get to him since time is on a timer =P
Over the years, I keep forgetting to post about the Quarm adds:
It spawns several [a time vortex] that are really wimps, but hit players with [Time Warp], so having snap-agro offtankers and a few Abolish Diseases (SHM, BST) ready is a good plan. Admittedly, Quarm is rather a snoozefest nowadays, with infusion and 10 more levels.

Err, it's (kind of ... well maybe not) interesting to know you killed Quarm, but it belongs on your guild websites, not on this board. Practical info is being spammed out. If people wanted to know about your kills, they could find out elsewhere. It may be exciting to have killed Quarm, but please keep that info elsewhere. Even an interesting tale of the encounter beats a "We killed this today"!
we killed quarm today!!! nah jk...dunno why posting this as a reply even...oh well, but i think he is lvl 75 as i remember thw white con at lvl 75 earlier today :)
#REDACTED,
Posted:May 12 2006 at 4:10 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) On 5-12-06 Wraiths of Destruction Tunare server downed the big guy. I had the honor of tanking him and what a rush it was. Max hit was around 2kish with defensive and highest hit without defensive was 4025 on me. Had the customary chwheel going and and a few spam healers. We used infusion and just flat burned from the get go. Very smooth fight and my DI didnt even fire. What a nite for me and my guild =)
Justice League of Norrath fought Quarm on Saturday October 22, 2005. We fought him first without Infusion, wiped at 65%, came back with Infusion and resist buffs out the wazoo, and guess what.....HE GOT PWND!!!
I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it but we just killed quarm. That may not be something to some, but we have only been in Time for 3 weeks. We were a Ele guild until we got our last EP god about a month ago. We had our first go at time 3 weeks ago to the day almost. Due to the instancing of Time you get to do it in 1 week belts.
First week was like this. Day 1: P1,2,3 Day 2:P4,TZ (Stopped here, had plenty of time but wanted to savor the moment)
Timer Resets and we go back next week.
Second week. Day 1 P1,2,3 Day 2: P4, TZ,VZ (Stopped here, were thinking about baby stepping)
Timer resets and we go back next week.
Third week goes like this. Day1: P1,2,3 Day 2:P4, COMPLETE Day 3:P5 COMPLETE!..oh and then what? We went ahead THAT night after P5 and did Quarm with 60!...5 clerics, 5 druids :)
Was awesome. We have never done anything beyond PoP besides Primals a few times. This was truly a shocker :)
GRATZ on Time Completion Haunted Dreams: Drinal Server
quarm is xegony, rathe, coirnav, and fennin combine. while going through time if you are not to busy worrying about the loot. after every floor in time u will get spam from the gods who are scared $%&#$% less at the fact that u are comming to kill them. when the last god in pot5 dies the EP gods will merge to become this bad boy..who is more bark than bite. my guild had more probs beating coirnav and rathe than beating him. he so gimp i spent most of the fight taking pictures
Note to any Shadowknight's pulling Quarm with Harmshield. His aggro radius is TINY. So, you can get kinda close without aggroing. Get a speed buff before hand. I made the mistake of casting HS, THEN going to get him. Didn't end well...
Resists are important during this fight. The AEs are not really that bad though. With a good MGB Heal rotation, this fight is cake and can be done with minimal deaths. Just get the Clerics to cast Celestial Regen and the Druids to cast SOTW and you are ok.
To be honest, Innoruuk is a better time to use that ability. Even then, Innoruuk's AE is still going to hammer you. I had 545 Fire resist last night and Inny was still landing it.
Infusion makes Quarm a cakewalk! Rarely did we have to worry about the groups needing the group healer to do a group heal with most of us resisting everything thrown our way. Quarm is getting easier and easier as more of us get better gears and AAs, but he is still a little bit of a challenge.
Having Infusion almost made me yawn during the fight :-)
EDIT: The only problem you may encounter is the fact that Infusion raises your resists to their MAXIMUM, so if you don't have anything that makes your cap higher then you are stuck at whatever you are capped at (for me it is 541 - which, of course, is plenty for this fight). On the higher end mobs above Quarm Infusion may not be as much of a godsend until you raise caps.
Hp: somewhere in the area of 2 million Max hit: 3800, quads, but fully slowable has a strange AE rampage that doesnt hit hard at all (300 something?) that he does very infrequently.
keep your bards alive and you win, simple as that. the AEs can hurt, but he doesnt cast them all at once. 4 heads, 4 sets of AEs. he does 2 at once and switches every 25% of HP.
i'd rank him about as hard as bertox, if not maybe a little easier, hes not a pushover but dont let the big numbers scare you too much.
final note- he is a rogue, further proving the fact that rogues are indeed the coolest class in the game. =)
Today me and the guild I am trying to join went to PoTime. We romped and stomped through and I died quite a bit. I mainly died from Ramps and AE's so going to Quarm I'm thinking "Well death number..." but to my surprise I stayed alive. Maybe it was the type of people we had but he didn't really seem that hard. I was impressed by him though. He's mean lookin.
quarm is rather easy, comparatively speaking. don't let the ae's fool you. its not so bad ;-) lol. we are 2 for 2 on quarm, and have yet to wipe on him. was a server first that we beat him on our first try though *shrug*
inny is far harder and a much more suckier a mob then quarm, but i like the bp he gave me none the less =-)
