After many years i decided to start this quest as im already ally (like killing in kael) but took several hours of killing in giant fort before he spawned, terrible.
But as posted before in the hub where the 2 giant's spawn to the right is confirmed. GL

hah i was there at giant gort for about 30 minutes and he spawned and dropped the staff WOOT

Killed Carpenter Grundo today. I probably camped his spawn spot for a total of 4-5 hours. That makes 40-50 spawns for him. He spawns inside the double hut, closest to the giant fort entrance.
The spawn time of Forest Giants at the fort is SIX MINUTES.

Finally saw this chump today. Me and a guildie dropped him like a wet pair of underwear. He dropped staff.
And FYI...we have hunted here pretty much every day for 6 months, and today was the first time we saw him. Big Time rare spawn

Well i was hunting the Giant Fort lastnight.. been there sence lvl 39 now lvl 42..and i saw a named on track.. this guy..so i pulled hehe got 5 giants but snared this guy and ran like mad.. lost agro on the other 4 giants then kited this one around..He fell and DING 42 the staff and a lumberjacks cap..

Myself, a level 43 necro, and my partner a level 44 mage killed this guy twice tonight. It was fairly difficult and he killed me once when we got an add. He dropped the staff both times.

i hunted fort for like 5-6 levels and the first time i got there i saw some group killing him and that was the last i ever seen of him.

He spawns in the Giant fort,find the only hut with 2 spawns and kill them both till he pops-he is rare.The staff is used in the Spirit of Garzicor quest found in skyshrine.

he spawns when a named wurm is killed i think. because when we camped the giant fort and the same time a guild was raiding the named wurms in BW and we killed him 3 times in a row and each wwere after a kill of a named wurm.

Nothing to do with Wurm spawns. He's a rare in the fort. Like said before, look in the hut that spawns two giants. Every time I've seen him (4 times) he's spawned in the right side of the hut when facing the door to the hut.

Dropped this guy last night, he was yellow to me at 46.
