Tenal Redblade is part of the Warrior Heart-Soul Quest. The quest begins with Tenal's brother Kargek in East Freeport and soon leads to Tenall. Tenal is located at the very far end of the EK chasm if you take the lower route.

Note that the marker in Brewall's map pack is incorrect. Tenal hangs out about a minute's walk farther west, at least on Aradune during Kunark.
No faction hits at all for kill.

I found him, as soon as I entered East Karana. You can jump down to your left at the bottom of the gully/cliff. jump you might die idk. lol
The previous post is correct, although I'd like to add -- run at the bottom not at the top, all the way to the end of the canyon. There, this part wasn't clear enough for me I guess, good I've had bard to levi down :D

Ok, i was running my war in east karana all the way up the ramp to HHK but i couldnt find him. So i loged my Ranja on and tracked him =)
He is -3255 -7468
follow the left way into the cannyan and at the end he stand.

On the trail itself just before it widens at the top of the pass. Ez find. Misty thicket, to Rivervale, to Kithicor forest, to High hold pass, to Ek.

Went to EK today and cant find this guy in the chasm. I petitioned it so i will see what happens, and if for some reason he has been moved or whatever happens i will post it so anyone else who has this problem will know what to do

Take the low road (left) on the way to HighHold Pass or you'll N E V E R find him. I asked a 70 lvl druid to track. Druid said not on track.
Tis area is not on the Eastern Plaines of Karana map, except for the entrance to High Hold Pass. Take high Hold Pass trail!
Follow that path forever, he is (!) at loc neg 3260 neg 7460, Really!

Like his brother and Wenden in East Freeport... He's been moved... I went there and didn't find him..... I'll post new loc. when I do find him....
Ok, the new updates put him back... he at the end of the path on the left of the High pass path....

What faction is this guy on? I'm a troll warrior and I'm starting ym epic, Obviously I have a hard time being an evil race, so I have to worry about faction. Anyone know the way to raise faction with him? Or do I even need to worry about it? Thanks for the help.
No faction needed when your doing your epic with this NPC. Though I'd take caution with the freeport milita, as you have to do some epic turn ins in east freeport also. So try not to be kos in freeport, or you'll have a tough time getting to the npcs, please note that the epic npcs in freeport aren't on milita faction, you can still do your epic even if kos to the milita, it'll just be hard to get to them. As with this guy, he's not on any faction at all. So you can kill him as many times as you want and still get your epic. Though I'd never seen anyone kill him before.

Well me and my good friend were quite lost on our way to runney eye, me a 34 monk and my friend 53 shaman, we went down this long, long trail and we saw this guy, we hailed him because we didn't know what the hell he was and my real life buddy, lol, hit A, the great 53 shaman doing a classic newbie mistake, it wasnt much of a battle, I saw the NPC swing a couple times, I saw the gate spell bubble things..sigh../shout Paying for a rez! hahah, it was funny, even till this day I make fun of him..

Most likely, someone attacked him (by accident or on purpose) and ended up training him back to the HH zoneline. He'll go back after the next patch.

been waiting at end of chasm for 8 hrs and he has not spawned ( been chacking back every hour of 2 ) is there a bug or does he have a long spawn time

stationary npc does not move.. located at the very end of the chasm. you give the book you get from his brother to him for a war totem and then give it back with a frost goblin heart to get the firey war totem for your warrior epic

Beyond Milea, at the very end, just saw him 15 mins ago, dunno if he travels at all, but he just stood there.

Either they buffed this guy, or your dreaming shammy. Or perhaps he has a real good regen. I just dropped about 8k on him and got him to half life. I had to gate as I was oom.

My 51 necro owned this guy with litle effort slow fear sick pet spurt ignite bones chill and shock = one dead warrior. any one know his spawn time?
