Um, I think you may be slightly confused. Bryndin McMill is a guy that stands out by Snowflake and is a Wolves of the North member. He is the 2nd person you give the Magic Elixir to in the Magic Elixir quest given in the Pit of Doom. He's not a shaman and he does not aggro, but helps out the guards in killing the stupid gnolls and gobbies that wander too far.

If you give him iron rations he will heal you.
This guys has major aggro, and is hit just about by any npc near him so his life is very short
