My SK is on my enchanter's account, so I couldn't help her, but I got a friend of mine to charm this guy, then I traded the items to him. It worked for me.
So I'm sure you could use a bard to charm him also.
Im KoS to this guy! I'm a DE SK and he is the sk armor quest npc.....does this seem right? Anyway, where r these Vampyres I can kill to raise my faction and would it be a bad idea to kill them? Someone told me killing the elementals raise this guy and trever's(the other guy) faction but i killed approximatly 75 of them and im still "ready to attack" to them.
Great, isn't it? They put in all these quests and made the quest-givers KoS to many players...
As for faction, I believe they're all on Katta factions (I certainly lose lots of Katta factions for killing them), so killing the elementals won't make any difference.
He's on the island just east of the island with all the elementals. The island has a building and a few docks......you can't miss it. when you find it you'll know it. He is at one of the docks.
Look. Not all of us are twinked enough to get better without killing faction somewhere. I'm a PP poor Sk liked over most of Norath. My faction is non KOS pretty much in every city. (If you see an ERU SK hanging with a bunch of lizzys at their bar, that's probably me) Even pallys in most citys are only dubious. My faction on the moon doesn't really matter much, other than for quests. The only quest I can find with the cortier vampires was nerfed, so its not worth doing now. The BP in this set is better AC than my mith, and has other important stats. I'd love to get several pieces of this armor that. If I'm wrong about the vampires not having other good quests, tell me, so I don't go KOS too soon, but I see no down side to these quests. Killing the vamps ups faction in town, where I am naturally KOS, so what does it hurt. One more trading post, after some more killing of cortiers. This quest will help me do the quests that get me the cool right clicky effects. If you aren't a twink, this stuff kicks major @$$. If you have high level farmer friens, or are a supertwink, don't wory about this quest, but don't discourage those who could benefit with your week arguemnts. We each need to assess the risk/reward for ourselves. I have seen a few people who tried to play the game themselves, without help from higher level friends give up after enjoying the game in low levels, then despising it, because everybody told them everything they wanted to do to better themselves wasn't worth the time. Help your neighbor, don't rip him down. (Unless he's a pally)
I agree with you gone. I'm sick of seeing all the flames about quests, and items from all the twinks, most of whom porbably have 3 year playing friends that have twinked them. I wish every one would take your advice and see if it apllies to them and stop all the teeny bopper whinning that goes on on this web site. Yes, I have a couple of minerly twinked toons with my main, but I don't cry about this and that all the time the way some people do. Crap people think about the ones who are just discovering the game, and lets make it fun thats what it should be all about anyway.
Just think its nice of him to keep the armor that a Shadowknight would wear when he HATES Shadowknights. Killing Vampires that have incredible quests for SK's is not worth getting faction for these armor pieces.
Since zero parts of the quest, including the quest armor itself is NOT no-drop, just get one of your pally friends to do the quest for you. Save your vampire faction and do some quests that really aid in your Plane raids and give cool right click spell effects.
