You say, 'Hail, Brodlan Remdo'

Brodlan Remdo says 'Why hello, I'm in charge of the fishing operations here on Jerns Isle. Fish are my area of expertise.'

You say, 'What fish?'

Brodlan Remdo says 'We have fish come in here all the time, sometimes we catch an oddity now and again.

You say, 'What oddity?'

Brodlan Remdo says 'Once we pulled up this ancient chest filled with this dark plate armor.

You say, 'What armor?'

Brodlan Remdo says 'Looked the like kind of armor a dark knight would wear, if ya want it I'm sure we could arrange a trade of some sort.

You say, 'I want the armor'

Brodlan Remdo says 'Looked the like kind of armor a dark knight would wear, if ya want it I'm sure we could arrange a trade of some sort.

You say, 'What trade?'

Brodlan Remdo says 'Since Trevor and I are the ones that found it we split it between ourselves. I have a helm, breastplate, vambraces, greaves, pauldrons, bracer, and boots. Ask Trevor about the rest of the armor.

You say, 'What about the vambraces?'

Brodlan Remdo says 'For the darkened knight's vambraces fetch me a sky jewel, a mark of terror, a runed ornamental mace, and an ancient tablet.

No more questions about where stuff drops
# Mar 19 2002 at 1:19 PM Rating: Decent
On almost every TS quest there are dozens of requests to find out what drops what quest items. Look to the left and click on "Luclin Armor" under the Quests section. This leaves zero doubt of what you need to do to get these pieces. Just FYI

are we paying attention here?

ok, folks, are we paying attention here?
does anyone else besides me notice what makes this armor different from any other armor that has come before it?
THIS IS A COMPLETE SET OF ARMOR... no other armor type that has come before this, quested or dropped or even planes armor, has had a complete set to it... if all these quests are finished, you will be wearing no armor other than the twilight armor... maybe there is a bonus for wearing a complete set... just a thought..

The Dreadscale also comes in a complete set.
pre-kunark myth

Pre Kunark there was a myth that if you wore a complete set of Blackened Iron Armor you would get a couple hundred AC bonus.

The EQ engine doesn't have the ability to add bonus's for complete sets n' stuff. No reason to get too worked up.

so, what part of the EQ engine did you write helix?

I dont believe there would be a full set bonus either, but there is no reason why they couldnt do it

would be so easy to add to the code to add a bonus if you wear all the armour, and there wouldnt have to be any new attributes visible to the player except the final bonus.

if wearing all twilight then add bonus xxx

there you go, code written. . .. any compilers around here?

i think that someone would suggest that there could be such a bonus just shows that people are disappointed with the stats of the individual items.
