Guardian of Takish says 'Well met. It is indeed a wondrous day to be serving the lady Tunare. If you know of any templars or knights send them to me. You say, 'I am a templar' Guardian of Takish says 'I require your aid. It seems the agents of corruption have supplied the followers of the warbringer with four idols that will help defoliate the Wakening Lands. Will you aid me noble Templar? You say, 'I will aid you' Guardian of Takish says 'Excellent gather the four idols that are held in Kael and return them to me. I will then properly dispose of these foul creations. You will need: Idols of Corruption, Decay, Disease and Erosion. They drop off the following giants in the Kael Arena: Gkrean Prophet of Tallon, Cleric of Vallon Zek, Semkak Prophet of Vallon and Priest of Tallon Zek. all 4 idols seem to drop in the same two rooms in the centre of Kael. It took me about 6 full clears (I was doing all of Kael repeatedly) to get all 4 idols. Posting this in 2014 so progression types know this is still active.
I can't do the turn in seeing as my monk has been killing in Plane of Growth (oops).

Loc is actually at n3500 p1200, inside a large open structure . Just did the MQ at apprehensive on my barb shaman , for a friends HE cleric who was also apprehensive. Worked just fine , although he didnt respond to hails - we had to prompt him with ' I am a templar '.

I have 3 of the 4 idols.
An SK friend (very KOS) has the 4th.
since they nerfed they inviz/FD turn in's I was hoping I can get some ideas as to how to MQ this.
I thought of charming the hand in NPC, but I dont think u can charm a lvl 68 mob.
Any suggestions would he a great help.

At level 50 I ran up to PoG to do the handin for this quest. The pieces were eaten and I was told by the NPC that I was too low a level. I petitioned for them to be reimbursed (luckily they were) while talking to the GM he told me not to do the handin again until level 55 as it had been changed. This was a GM, not a Guide.

I just (22 dec) did the bracer with my lvl 55 amiable cleric, successfull MQ with a lvl 59 amiable druid.

I can verify that you can do this quest with INDIFFERENT faction, as I have done so tonight with my mom's cleric.

My guild raids Kael arena almost every saturday. The first two idols i got came in the same raid off the 2 prophets. 3rd one the following week and the 4th one, Decay today off of a random cleric. Reading this page i guess i am lucky in how fast i got them. Now just need to get to 55.

Ive been to kael alot and ive never seen the idols drop do they drop in the arena or elsewhere?

Ok can something be done about this? Quest min. level says 50, item min. level says 46. It is no-drop and supposedly you need to be lvl 55 to do the quest. I've got 2 Idols and can reasonably easily get the others and go to PoG. Do I really have to wait 5 levels to get this?
I'd think item/quest levels should reflect the level it can be completed "normally", ie not multiquested...anyone else feel this way?

The mobs that drop them are in Kael Drakkel Arena.
Idol of Corruption drop off Gkrean Prophet of Tallon
Idol of Disease drop off Semkak Prophet of Vallon
Idol of Erosion drop off Priest of Vallon/Tallon
Idol of Decay drop off Cleric of Vallon/Tallon
(Seems same as some others who have posted)
The First 3 were very easy to obtain and were fairly regular drops. The final Idol of Decay was a SUPER rare. We'd gone to the Arena many many times and had never seen one drop and I had started to believe it was a myth. ;p But... it wasn't it finally did drop off of a Cleric.

At least you need to be level 55+ to obtain the quest (Not 46) and, of course, a good faction to the "Tunarean Court". (As Tunare fellower, you are amiably if you did not hunt at PoG before.)

A REALLY UBER ranger in my guild looted some idols for me to MQ, he told me Decay dropped off a protector of zek, disease and corruption drop off the named prophet/preists of tallon and vallon, I don't have errosion yet so I can't confirm anything about that.

I just completed the bracer a couple of days ago.
Here's the deal on the idols:
Corruption/Disease - fall off the named Semkak and Gkrean prophets inside the arena, drop every time
Erosion/Decay - random drop off non-named prophets/clerics/priests. I got 2 erosion before I saw decay.
Way to do it is to set up outside the arena to one side, clear the wanderers and any statics in your way, bust up the zek spawn inside the arena (not Kallis' guards!) then clear the rooms to the left and right where the priests/prophets spawn. We had to kill 20-30 of them suckers before the last idol dropped.
This bracer says, "There's a level 60 monk who really likes me!" ;)

I have 3 of the idols currently. The Idol of Corruption dropped off the Gkrean Prophet guy. The Idol of Disease dropped off Semkak Prophet of Vallon. And the Idol of Erosion dropped off a Priest of Tallon Zek.
I have heard conflicting information on the Idol of Decay. Some say off Priest Kallis (not Kallis Whateverhisnameis. Then I have also heard it is a rare drop off of any Priest or Prophet. Can anyone CONFIRM either of these please?

Could someone that is wearing this bracer please confirm which mobs drop the Idols? I killed and looted both Prophets, so have 2 of the 4 needed, but killed many "cleric of"s and "priest of"s w/out another idol dropping. People have posted that they drop the idols and that Kallis drops an idol. Which rumor is true?

Where do all the idols drop? We've gotten idols from the prophets of Tallon and Vallon behind the arena, but not sure where the other 2 are. Anyone know?

The four idols are found on the Prophets and the Priests of Rallos Zek as well. The last one (Idol of Decay) is held by Priest Kallis, a lvl 60 Cleric whos got ungodly MR. Yeouch. =/

Are you sure? I haven't seen a priest kallis, but there is a Kallis Somethingorother back there. We've killed him, he just drops a head, not an idol. We've killed 'a cleric of vallon/tallon' as well but never seen an idol. The only idols we've seen dropped off 'Gkrean Prophoet of Tallon' and 'Semkak Prophet of Vallon'

Same problem here, I got Idol of Corruption off Gkrean Prophet of Tallon, and Idol of Dieases off Semkak Prophet of Vallon. I have killed Semkak 3 times, and he seems to always drop the Idol of Dieases. Do we just have to get lucky with the spawns?

yes it's a rare spawn with a rare drop it looks like because i've spent about 80 hours and i have got 3 of them and still haven't seen the forth i'm sure it drops in the same area as the other in the rooms behind the arena but it's just rare

Ironic though that the helm of the tracker, which is just as good stats wise and has an effect on it, is alot easier to get than the bracer.
