As of tonight, this is not working for my Druid, using a Prayer Writing Kit.
I click the combine button, and nothing happens. No error message about the items not being combinable, just nothing happening.

Though this task may seem to have nothing to do with learning about creating spells, the skills you learn while doing them will help you in the future. take these supplies and follow the directions give to you carefully. You have been assigned the task 'Simple Quill for Crescent Reach' Create 20 Simple Quill using tradeskills 0/20 (ALL) You will need to be at least level 25 and trained one skill point in Research. Simple Quill Trivial 31 1 x Plain Flight Feather 1 x Simple Quill Cutting Tool In a Spell Research Kit, Tome Binding Kit, Prayer Writing kit, Song Writing Kit or Hybrid Research Kit. The materials are obtained by saying 'supplies' to Researcher Akila. Just keep asking her for more until you've successfully completed 20 combines and reached the trivial of 31. You say, 'I need more supplies.' Researcher Akila says ‘Here are some more supplies you will need. Do not hesitate to ask if you need more [supplies] to complete a task.' Deliver 20 Simple Quill to Researcher Akila 0/20 (Crescent Reach) Deliver 1 Simple Quill Cutting Tool to Researcher Akila 0/1 (Crescent Reach) Upon turning in the 20 Simple quill and the simple quill cutting tool: Your task 'Simple Quill for Crescent Reach' has been updated. I am able to get this quest on my level 24 beastlord and I have the same problem. No error message but nothing happens. However if I speak to a beastlord guildmaster it says research isn't available until 25 so it is possible to get the quest before you are able to train in research. It's my guess that nothing happens because you have no skill in research yet. I don't know what level druids can train in research or what level your druid is but I'm guessing it's possible this may be your problem.
