This is just a placeholder as we have almost no information about this quest. We need all task stages and descriptions; additional zones, including instance name as you zone in; names, /loc, levels, faction hits, and fight info for all quest mobs; quest items; faction hits if any; list of quest rewards; any other missing information.
You say, 'escort' You have been assigned the task 'Saving from Slavery'. a dark elf slave says 'I'll follow your lead. Be careful, my friend. The kobolds are everywhere.' What comes between these parts? A vast mine lays before you. From deep within the mine you can hear the clanging of pulleys and carts. It appears as though they are inhabited . . . a dark elf slave says 'Ha Ha! Wait until my comrades hear about this! Thanks for escorting me safely through Gloomingdeep, my friend!' Cleared the area of Kobolds, killed Ruga, finished all quest but this one but still can't bet it. Even saying 'escort' doesn't work anymore.

The slaves will usually say they don't want to go anywhere because of the guards. But you can still say Escort and get the quest and they go anyway.

If a slave is killed and no other slave will go delete the quest and start again on it.
Sometimes a slave won't ask to be rescued if you have a summoned creature.
You may have to dismiss your critter to trigger the quest

Actually there are four slaves that give this quest. A Dark Elf, an Iksar, a dwarf & a human.
What comes between these parts?
You have get the slave back to Arias alive.
Once the slave gets close enough to Arias, you will hear:
'a dark elf slave says 'Ha Ha! Wait until my comrades hear about this! Thanks for escorting me safely through Gloomingdeep, my friend!'
Your task 'Saving from Slavery' has been updated.
You gain experience!!
You have been given: Chunk of Iron
Additional information: All the mobs in the jail corridor will aggro on and attack the slave; so you will probably have to fight them to get the slave back to safety. If you killed all the mobs on the way to the jail area, and you move fast enough, you should return from the jail area with minimal fighting on your return trip. Just remember, every once in a while, look back at the slave and make sure they are not in a fight.
If the slave dies, you CAN go back and get another slave to complete the quest.
The quest is repeatable. If a slave refuses to leave, ask another.
You can give the slave a weapon, however, the slave will not return it.
I suggest that once you leave the jail area with your living slave, head for the underwater passage by Guards Kaikachi & Zajeer. It's the quickest route back to Arias.
