As an ogre, when I had an illusion on and said "medals?", I received no response or task window.
When I removed the illusion, and was in my normal ogre form, I received the task window when I said "medals?"
This may be a specific bug with Artisan Garth Okken in Oggok.

This quest is identical for the following races and is given by the Artisan in your home city....

You say, 'just joo try clubbin me' Artisan Garth Okken says 'You do wants a clubbin! Ha ha! You pass da test den! Anyone who wants a clubbin' from me must be too tuff for a clubbin! Leave me with jusa broken club! How you get to be so tuff, Tumytuk? You don't even wear da good [armor]!' You say, 'whut? me armor is grate' Artisan Garth Okken says 'Aye, ha ha. Da gud armor! Normally ogres not good at making tings, just breakin' tings, ya? But dis one ogre, a crazy war face named Kizrak da Tyrant, he design da gud armor and gave me da [pattern] book. Told me to pass it out to da other tuff ogres. Since you tuff enough to ask me for a clubbin', you tuff enough for dis armor! Mebbe you even tuff enough to earn [medals].' You say, 'whut medals?' Artisan Garth Okken says 'Yah. If'n you think you ready fer something a lil more challengin', I can send you on many missions. You take as many as you want. To prove you good, you make impressions in book. Da book do da work so you no worry about it.' You are offered a number of "Impressions" tasks. For Blessed... To find the patterns that will inspire you, you will need to kill Froglok Gaz in Upper Guk, and Crag Spiders in East Karana. The patterms you will need are in the patterns of spots on the heads of the frogloks and the carapaces of the spiders. Receive Blessed Impression Book Kill 20 froglok gaz 0/20 (Upper Guk) Make impressions of the Froglok Gaz head patterns. 0/5 (Upper Guk) An "impression" is a random update that can come from any kill... as long as you have your Impression Book in your inventory. It may be necessary to kill in excess of the required kill quota in order to complete the impressions stage. That's why it's called random. Kill 10 crag spiders 0/10 (East Karana) Make impressions of the crag spider carapaces 0/2 (East Karana) Deliver the impression book to an artisan of your race 0/1 (ALL) Return Blessed Impression Book to the same Artisan you gave you the quest.
