Reaver Lebanezer can be found in the Bertoxxulous' Chosen camp and gives the task "One of our Own" in which you must kill Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder. You must have first completed all the other tasks in the Cursed Obsidian Shard line and have at least amiable faction.
You say, 'Hail, Reaver Lebanezer' Reaver Lebanezer says 'So you're the one that's been making the splash, hmm? My friends have said many good things about you: solid bone structure, knows their way around a tomb, isn't a complete imbecile, merciless killer and all that. I like what I've heard, so I don't mind filling you in on our little [quandary].' You say, 'What quandary?' Reaver Lebanezer says 'Yes, and that quandary's name is Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder. He was a colleague of ours from Ak`Anon. Bimbalicus is his given name, while the Soulbleeder is a name he earned. There are many stories about how he turned his classmates into mindless zombies, how he was expelled from the guild, and how he was banished from Ak`Anon. I'll leave those for another time. Suffice it to say, he has caused us a lot of trouble and we know he's here in the Hills of Shade. The Soulbleeder isn't here for the same reason we are. We need to uncover his [motivations].' You say, 'Motivations?' Reaver Lebanezer says 'We've pinpointed his location deep in the Crypt of Shade, an ancient tomb drilled into the mountains. You'll find it far to the southwest. Travel there and find out what the Soulbleeder is up to. Use force if necessary, and don't underestimate him.' You have been assigned the task 'One of Our Own'. Explore deep into the Crypt of Shade, located in the southwest 0/1 (Hills of Shade) Speak with Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder 0/1 (Hills of Shade) Clear his room before hailing Bimbalicus Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder says 'Who do you think you are, intruding on my home so rudely? I should forcibly remove you from this place. . . but, I have been longing for some new. . . [friends]. . .' You say, 'Friends?' Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder says 'Well, I suppose that 'friend' is the wrong word. What I really mean is 'servant'! All of the creatures you see in this crypt are mine, you see! I found them, [stripped] them of their souls, and bound them to my will. You must have destroyed quite a few of my creatures in your efforts to find me, yes? A gracious guest should always. . . replace things that he breaks when visiting a friend. Don't you agree?' You say, 'Stripped?' Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder says 'Mmm, yes! Consuming a soul is more satisfying than a banquet, more delicious than the rarest delicacy! Souls taste of suffering and pain, and each soul that I absorb adds to my unimaginable power. The [crystals] here facilitate my plans, for in them I can store any number of souls to absorb at my leisure.' You say, 'What crystals?' Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder says 'The crystals grow in the caves and hills that make up this land, and I send my servants to gather them for me. By channeling my will into these crystals, they can extract, store, or release souls. I have fashioned a series of crystals over my body, and when the time comes, I will leave this place and consume the souls of every being who inhabits these lands. But for now, I shall begin with you and your friends! Unless you think you can [stop] me?' You say, 'I will stop you!' Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder grins maniacally. 'Then I suppose you and your pathetic friends will be the next souls that I consume! Arise, my minions, and punish these strangers for their interference!' Defeat Bimbalicus and his minions 0/1 (Hills of Shade) 5x "a soulbound wraith" spawn in the center of the room. The first goes active 12 seconds later; subsequent wraiths go active every 40 seconds. a soulbound wraith reaches forth with outstretched arms. Next, 5x "a bonesworn ripper" (skeletal monks) spawn in the center of the room. Again, one goes active every 40 seconds. a bonesworn ripper brandishes its fist-blades menacingly. 45 seconds after the last skeleton goes live, Bimbalicus goes live and attacks. He hits about the same as a named in Fortress Mechanotus (~6,000 or so). Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder says 'Fools! I will rip your souls from your bodies and keep them for my own!' Loot a Gemmed Bracer from Bimbalicus 0/1 (Hills of Shade) Loot a gemmed bracer off Bimbalicus. He drops three. Deliver the Gemmed Bracer to Labenezer 0/1 (Hills of Shade) Hand the gemmed bracer to Lebanezer. Lebanezer accepts the bracer embedded with black crystals that Bimbalicus left behind. He shakes his head in disgust. Rewards: Experience Faction with Bertoxxulous' Chosen (+100) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

On Mischief (maybe it's the server)? Four different characters on different accounts completed this and, like the previous quests in this line, received 51 (not 100) bump to Bertoxx Chosen.

My 115 Necro and Pet solo'd this easily, but the wait time between mob activations is absolutely painful...

Successfully received and completed this task at Amiable faction on the Phinigel server.
Also tested pulling the raid that follows this task, and was able to do so (still at Amiable faction).

I just solo'd this as an 85 shaman with tier 3 journeyman tank merc. Clearing to Bimbalicus was rather simple, although sometimes would have 3 mobs at a time. Once my merc died on 3 crypt keepers but I was able to use Petrifying Earth and Virulent Paralysis to keep them away from me as I burned them down. Once merc was revived, I waited outside the room until we were fully buffed and at full mana. The key was to clear the room and start the event quickly as I always would get repops in the room (3 crypt keepers and a roaming goo). I positioned myself to the left of Bimbalicus when facing him, wedged in a corner. My merc was right next to me with me set as puller. This way, he would not wander too far out, and was able to totally avoid the single crypt keeper by the room entrance when it repopped. Mobs during the event were rather weak. They were not very resistant; I hardly had to use Malo, just highest level poison and magic dot, and keep tank healed with HoT and single heals. Once Bimbalicus attacked I immediately slowed, malo'd, and dotted with poison, magic, and disease DoTs. By the time the magic DoT wore off, the two crypt keepers near him repopped and started attacking my tank. I recasted the magic dotted, and spam healed the tank. The tank didn't last long, then everyone was on me. I healed myself once, Bimbalicus died, I looted quickly, then gated with about 20% life left. Was very close.
If I had to do it again, I would try to position myself at the entrance to the room instead. I assume it would be much easier dealing with the single repop than the two in the back.

Could not get this until I did Making up for lost time.
I had Ally but couldn't request this. Following other posters I completed The Power of Decay and then Reaver would talk to me. So The Power of Decay is definitly a prerequisite.
A ranger's life is truely to solo these worlds.
I've done "Bigger, Faster, Stronger, Dumber" "I would exhume so" and "The Power of Decay" and can't request this mission yet. Faction still dubious.
Alright so I'm working on getting this with two toons. Both have done the tasks mentioned above and also since then have done "Cartographical Nightmare" and both are at amiable faction. One toon has finished "Making up for lost time" and can request this mission, one toon still hasn't finished that task and can't request this one. Either Lost Time is needed to request this or that was the breaking point factionwise, but both factions still amiable.

A friend is unable to get One of Our Own and is only missing I Would Exhume so, so prerequsite is not a set number of tasks but a set of specific tasks one of them being I would Exhume So.

I think the chance of him Reaver Lebanezer replying to your hail is totally randomItalic Text on which task you are on. I had ally faction and 5 of the 8 task done and he would not respond to me. Only after i finished the task "The Power of Decay" then did he finally respond to me and i was able to get the task "One of Our Own.
So again, i think it is totally random in the order of task you have and do them. gl, i had my eye set on warmly faction and boy was i wrong.

The task I Would Exhume So is NOT adequate to get One of Our Own.
I had ally Bertoxxulous' Chosen faction and FOUR of the Cursed Obsidian Shard tasks done and he would not give me One of Our Own.
Upon completing The Power of Decay I was able to get One of Our Own.

Not true, I was able to get one of our own before completing the bert camp version of borrowers task or the perfect omlette. Everyone I have talked to was able to get this task once they completed "I exhume so".

At the moment, between my wife's chars and mine, 4 have completed "making up for lost time" and they can get "one of our own"
The 2 that have not completed "making up for lost time", while also kindly to bertoxx at the moment, can't get "one of our own" from Reaver Lebanezer.
I don't know if it's just counting the # of tasks , or flagging specific ones...but that's the only difference in the chars that have gotten "one of our own" from him

I didn't note down all of the steps, but I reconfirmed the following:
1: Explore deep into the Crypt of Shade, located in the southwest
2: Speak with Bimbalicus the Soulbleeder
3: Defeat Bimbalicus and his minions.
Steps 4 and 5 are to loot the item from him and return it to Lebanezer, but I don't have the exact text.
