SK Noob Quest 1st off The Restless Skells in QH drop the Decaying bone parts , but at a slow rate and thay drop faster at night. However if you can the drop is faster at the undead camp near the wattor by N. Karana zone line in Western Karana from the Solder Skells.
While geathering these in QH keep your eys open for a giant King Snake youll need its skin for the weapon part of quest. and youll need the head of Grennet Stormhand, he can be found in N. Q by the QA zone by outter wall. It may help to get a ranger or druid that can trak to help you locate a Giant king snake in QH, if not,I found mine at the town cryer next to bank, so check shops.
Gray Wolves will drop all the pelts you need in QH.

Thanks for this! I was beginning to think the ONLY place it dropped was the restless and maybe skele's in QH. I got lucky myself and ran into the giant king snake on my way from the undead camp to the tower guarding the zone to W.K.
Also got lucky that in one night I had both the ribcage and the sternum drop so I got my BP. Now I just need another bracer, helmet, gauntlets, leggings and armguards and I'll be set! :P

I guess I got lucky in that the first piece I got was the sternum from the static skeleton spawn in North Qeynos. If not sure where I mean, it's the spot where during the day named Gnolls pop. At night a skeleton usually pops there and sometimes a zombie. Anyway, I got the rest of the pieces from the ruin in Qeynos Hills. It took a couple days of camping ruin but it was worth it. I also ended up with enough money to buy a BABS, BALS, and a Crustacean shield. Best thing I can say is kill everything at the ruin.

I got All of decaying piece from Undead camp at NK, WK border. it drop from Skeletion soldier there. it share spawn with Ghoul and Zombie and total of 6 spawn there. it might be a little hard for teen to solo ghoul I used my Main Monk 41 solo there for 2 days and my SK park nearby so when the piece drop i will log and loot, and got most piece now (except one more humerus) got bout 4 stack of zombie skin in the same time 8). but i already quit EQ and my account expire before i can get the last piece and finish the armor.

I got a Decaying Skull off of a Decaying Skellie in Qeynos tonight. Maybe they fixed things. Hope so
I looted a Decaying Ribcage from the undead camp in WK close to the NK zone.

You will only find Decaying Bones on Restless Skeletons in Qeynos Hills, and on the Skeletal Soldiers at the WK undead camp.

My son was working on the Scourge items too and found out that you have to kill the putrid and other skellies that are at the old ruined building on the way to the ent to BB from surefall glades.

I checked out some of the areas around Qeynos last night looking for the various decaying bones for this quest. No such luck. Decaying skeletons in the area would occasionally drop 'skeleton tibia', which kinda sound like the 'decaying tibia' the greaves quest asks for, but I never saw anything else. Just for fun, I tried 2 of those in with the formula for the greaves and got a Do Not Combine message. The drops must either be uncommon, or off of different types of skeletons.
