Rathmana Allin
# Jan 05 2008 at 4:19 PM Rating: Decent
If you go the route of giving 3p at a time to the npc in South Ro, the npc's name is Rathmana Allin and is located at +1355, -275. I took 1500p and gave it to the npc 3p at a time, and aftewards, when I went to check in the Temple of Ro, I had gone from being kos to being ally.
Another thought....

Sorry for the double.. Here is the thought.. As a 56 mage that helped a cleric do his epic I got Bit on the Faction for the temple.. We all know how boring it is to farm shadow men this is what i'v done. I went to WC to the camp of shadow men.. I cleaned the camp out and stood on the spot they spawn. They pop 1 or 2 at a time... Pet kills them.. I get faction.. then I went to work... Got home and faction with Roe couldnt get any better.. Watched it for an hour.. never got below 70 pct...PS make sure you have a good unbuffed base HP...Good Luck

Be Careful Helping Clerics With Their Epics in Temple

If you are a class that has quests to complete in this Temple BE WARNED !!!. The Cleric Epic involves getting a blood soaked robe or somesuch from an evil priest undercover in the Temple. All is GOOD to whack his Evil **** back to Innoruuk. HOWEVER !!!!! On the off chance that your party accidently aggros any servants or other guardians of Ro RUN LIKE HELL TO THE ZONE BEFORE ANYTHING DIES !!!!

I took part in a Clerics quest here and unfortunate to me someone opened the doorway and boom....instant aggro from servants. And of course being green cons they died rather quickly from the groups pets. I did manage to zone in just enough time to save my **** from becoming KOS in this zone and now Vira only tells me my breath smells like something died. I am now spending time killing Shadowed Men that are complete Green cons and QUITE BORING to kill at 55. All this in order to raise my faction back to the point that my breath stops stinking to Vira so that she will give me my pet focus quests which are a part of MY Epic.

Mages be warned or be bored and I will see you at the Shadow Man camp.
stupid faction

What's the fastest way to gain faction with the temple? I'm a lvl 44 iksar necro, and I'm trying to do the harvester quest. I've collected all the stuff, bought a fire opal, and discovered that I'm KoS in the temple. I've spent several hundred platinum already by the erudite in south ro. How much money should I expect to spend? For what it's worth, I've been killing a lot of shadow men recently for quest stuff, which is supposed to help my faction, but does it in fact do the opposite? I'm going to find myself broke soon, from giving platinum to an erudite in the desert who looks at me like he wants me to die, just like the orc outside his tent, Ortallius, who tries to kill me whenever I see him. Obviously I'm not turning in any cuttthroat rings to him.

I wish to god this game weren't 10X more difficult for "evil" characters.
Yet Another Question on Faction

As a Wizardess who worships Ro, for the longest time I enjoyed amiable faction within the Temple. I've done a bit of cleansing Norrath of Shadowed Men, and to my knowledge, have NEVER seen a negative hit for Temple of Ro faction. Recently I began the first small steps for my epic; talking to Solomen, bringing the note to Camin, and giving Camin the 1K pp. All good, still apprehensive with True Spirit, but oh well. Well the point of this meandering is, went back to the Temple a day or two later, and I am now only indifferent when I con an NPC. Anyone have any ideas on why this might be? Was automatic faction for Ro worshipers changed recently with one of the patches?

Did you by chance happen to hail the floating, be-turbaned gentleman downstairs? (Tazgar the Efreeti) (Behind the secret door?) If you did, that is what happened. I do not know why this is, but there are warnings all over the internet not to hail him. I learned the hard way. You'll have to rebuild your faction by doing quests or hunting shadowmen.

I'd love to know the reason for this. From a role-playing standpoint, it is really anoying. If anyone knows any lore about Tazgar the Efreeti, I'd love to hear it.
Question about faction

I'm doing the Robe of the Elements quest with my bard, for my mage. How high does my faction have to be to be able to do the quest? Any information will be greatly appreciated

I'd like to open up this question a bit - everybody describes Temple of Solusek Ro faction as only being relevant to Paladins.. but don't most classes get quests in Solusek Ro?

Do those quests also not demand good faction? Or can other classes do their Ro quests while just being indifferent?
RE: Question about faction

Yes, other classes do have quests there. I'm not sure how many but I do know that clerics and mages definitely do.

Most classes do. Wizards even start their epic there.
Another faction quest in SRo
# Feb 02 2001 at 7:40 AM Rating: Good
There's an erudite in the tent near Ortallius. If you give him 30 gp, he'll give you either a low level wizard spell or a rotted scroll, and +templeofsoulsekro, -shadowedmen. It has to be gold, nothing else. Great for when I was camping the AC and couldn't bank anywhere near. Just pass the gp onto the erudite and build your Temple of Ro faction.

Doesn't have to be 30 gold only. I gave him 3pp at a time and got scrolls and improved faction with ToSR. =)
