' You say, 'What training' Wendel Deeppockets says 'There are many steps that young rouges must take on the road to stealth. The most important part of your training is learning how to use the tools around you such as the forge. From the looks of you I can tell you could use some more [enchanted armor] as well so I think this would be a good learning experience. ' You say, 'What enchanted armor' Wendel Deeppockets says 'I am pleased to hear that you are interested in making your own armor Makkinry. I have some instructions for you so please listen closely. First, I will present you with your Dusty Mail Assembly kit when you are ready. After that, simply tell me what piece of Slickfinger Chainmail you [want] to craft and I will give you a pattern along with a recipe for [Coifs], [Bracers], [Sleeves], [Boots], [Legplates], [Gloves] and [Tunics]. The recipe I will give you for specific items will need to me combined in the assembly kit to create the magical material necessary. Once you have this material and pattern that I gave you when you told me what item you wanted to craft, put both in the nearest forge to create the armor piece you asked for. Here is your Dusty Mail Assembly Kit. ' You say, 'I want to craft the Tunic' Wendel Deeppockets says 'I'm happy to see that your training is coming along so well Makkinry. I have no doubt in my mind that you are ready to craft your tunic. Please collect 5 Bricks of Crude Iron Ore, 1 Giant Wood Spider Femurs, 1 Embalming Dusts, 1 Dark Elf Skin and 1 Giant Yellowjacket Thorax. Come back after you are finished, I have a [job] for you. ' You say, 'What job' This part of the conversation is currently broken, Wendel no longer responds when you ask what job. The turn in still works however. Wendel Deeppockets says 'Orcs is the job Makkinry. Plain and simple I cannot stand these homewreckers. They have moved into our land and continue to storm our front gate. I seek out bone fragments and fractured jawbones from these nasty Orcs. Once we have 1 of each we will be able to create a weapon for you to use. ' Turn in the bone fragments and fractured jawbone to Wendel Deeppockets, receive the Dirk of the Slickfinger and the following faction adjustments. Wendel Deeppockets, down at the first floor in the middle of the bar, will take the two items for the weapon...
However, the quest dialogue is all broken. He responds as if you gave him a newbie note player start with, saying welcome to the guild and offers training, and has no response to the [job] he offers for the weapon. Just have to give the items to him. Good work, Sony. lol

The thing that sucks big time is that this is a primary hand and 1hand slashing weapon..
A horrible idea! This is the newb weapon and cannot be used with a Rogues primary ability. And it is supposed to be for newbies! Come on!!
Change the weapon to piercing!
I've allready feedbacked this, I urge all of you to do the same.

where do i get bonefragment. those are so hard to find.
You get the bone fragment and jawbone from the orc camps.
When I have my rogue or druid back in RV for training, I'll go clear out the 2 orc camps and let the rogues loot so that they can get this weapon. It's a very nice newbie weapon that should hold them over until they can afford to upgrade.

this quest was the easiest and i completed it in about 2 minutes. everything dropped in the first few kills. get in a good group and start killin.

i got the jawbone in no time but I didn't know who droped the bone fragments the orcs or the skellys well i think its the orcs not sure been running back and fourth and still no bone fragments UM all I get is jawbones. are they on the Orcs or not

Hey Poodini, the problem you might have had is that you needed more than just the fractured jawbone, you need the bone fragment too. Did you hand in both? Try doing that and you should be able to get the dirk. I just started these quests for my rogue, hope the time spent equals the gear obtained.

i have aboslutely NO IDEAD what to do!!! a person named...oh...zulwarn, yeah, zulwarn helped me powerlevel after we went all crouching tiger hidden dragon on rivervale:P anyway, he asked me if i wanted "plvl." i said "ok", and before ya know it, im sooper buffed and slaying like 10 RED orcs centurions at once! im pretty sure i looted AT LEAST 3 fractured orc jawbones, and i knew i had to turn em in to SOMEBODY. when the information was given to me by a young rogue by the name of twistedjester, i thanked him and was of to hand in the bones! oh boy i was so excited! twist already had the dirk, and looked SO FREAKIN' COOL!! ...much to my dismay, i handed in the orc bones to lendel deeppockets. he said nothing. "" not even a thank you! if he hates these stoopid orcs SOOO much, why did i not

or 3. just leave the bones on the corpses an' let 'em rot if i knew it would be such a waste of time?!

yes u just have to give the fractured jowbone to Lendel Deeppockets to gain the weapon even if it is a lore o drop item

Do you have to make the tunic before you can do this quest? I tried to give Lendel the jawbone and he just took it, and didn't give me a weapon. I just got another, but i'm not going to give it to him right away. Does anyone know if i was just glitchy?

I answer my own question. You DO NOT have to complete the tunic before creating the weapon. And i know everyone's said it before, but you don't need the jawbone, just the bone fragments.

At least on Xev, the Jawbones aint that hard to find. This sticker was actually the easiest peice of Slickfinger gear to get for me. The orcs were being camped by some dud looking for faction. He let me loot behind him and I had my bones in about 20 minutes.
Now that damn Thorax for the tunic... That is another story!

i did the Quest on my rogue.. i handed bone fragments and the jawbone he said i dont need this handed bone fragments back kept jawbone and made me this uber weapon this armor/weapon rules on rallos zek i jsut started my rogue on that server

Unless i hear or See other wise the Jawbone is RARE as HELL saw 1 in like 4 hours still looking for mine for my rog =p well back to hunting ^_^
