You say, 'Hail, Lendel Deeppockets'

Lendel Deeppockets says 'Its nice to meet you Makkinry. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Lendel Deeppockets master Assassin of Rivervale. I am personally in charge of all [training] we have the new recruits go through before they are sent out on specific missions. '

You say, 'What training'

Lendel Deeppockets says 'There are many steps that young rouges must take on the road to stealth. The most important part of your training is learning how to use the tools around you such as the forge. From the looks of you I can tell you could use some more [enchanted armor] as well so I think this would be a good learning experience. '

You say, 'What enchanted armor'

Lendel Deeppockets says 'I am pleased to hear that you are interested in making your own armor Makkinry. I have some instructions for you so please listen closely. First, I will present you with your Dusty Mail Assembly kit when you are ready. After that, simply tell me what piece of Slickfinger Chainmail you [want] to craft and I will give you a pattern along with a recipe for [Coifs], [Bracers], [Sleeves], [Boots], [Legplates], [Gloves] and [Tunics]. The recipe I will give you for specific items will need to me combined in the assembly kit to create the magical material necessary. Once you have this material and pattern that I gave you when you told me what item you wanted to craft, put both in the nearest forge to create the armor piece you asked for. Here is your Dusty Mail Assembly Kit. '

You say, 'I want to craft the boots'

Lendel Deeppockets says 'Boots you say Makkinry? Well I think I heard you right but I had to check. Make sure you only wear your boots in case of emergency. All other times you should showcase your feet to the world with pride. You will need to combine 2 Bricks of Crude Iron Ore, 2 Fire Beetle Eyes and 2 Giant Thicket Rat Skulls in your kit to fashion your Slickfinger Boot Material. Once you have done this take the material to a forge along with this pattern to create your Slickfinger Chainmail Boots. '

The Thorn Draklings (TD's) only pop Approx 5 per game day. Random spawn points in Misty on RV side of wall.If Blixxen (Guy with pet Fire beetle named Ember) sees one he will KOS them. Plus you have every other Halfling in Misty looking for them as every noob armor quest has at least 1 piece which needs one or more TD scales. (Ruined, Regular & Pristine) For the Ranger armor, EVERY piece needs one or more of the TD scales, and Rangers can Track. VI tried to make a sense of comunity by having everyone helping one another like the Val Shir. Instead it just turned into a big auction for TD scales by greedy Rangers.

I started a rogue on a blue server to show my uncle how to play, since he already made a character there. So I set out to do this armor. Anyway, the Giant Thicket Rats are ALL over outside the RV cave. There are more of them than normal rats.

All you have to say is "I want crafted..."and the piece of armor that you want.

i.e. /say I want crafted tunic
/say I want crafted gauntlets

As a matter of fact you don't have to use the forge in Rivervale to create the armor... I got my Slickfinger Tunic by running to Oasis got the embalming dust stopped in to NFP and used the forge there. Put the items to be combined in your box, Don't put the Pattern in there it wont work. Once you get the Enchanted Metal you put the it in the forge with the pattern then combine...Voila you have your armor. It took me approx. 12-16 hours to do all but the coif and gaunts.

Are you using the Vale Forge? I had that problem at first... you have to use the forge next to the druid guild... just head past the Fool's Gold into the area that looks like a plowed field, the forge is next to the stall on the left.

- I went up to Lendel Deeppockets and got the Dusty Mail Assembly kit.
- I then combined the items needed in the kit to make a metal plate (forgot name).
- Then, went back to Lendel and said "I want to craft Boots" to get my pattern.
- Lastly, I went to a forage and put the plate and pattern in to get my fancy blue boots (slightly better than the Blackened Iron Boots I had on).
