Grave Robbers  

well i'm an Ogre warrior so he wouldnt give me the quest...BUT, what if i get the pieces & jus give him the 4 pieces, because you dont give him the letters he gives you, ONLY the 4 pieces that is ON the list, so...what if i just get the 4 pieces & just give it to him?? anyone know if he'll give you the box, or do you have to recieve the 3 letters first to exchange the 4 pieces for the box??

What zone is this guy in? I had thought that he was in Shadowhaven, and had searched the entire zone. Where in the world is this guy?

I am just wondering im doing this as an iksar monk, im doing it for my 58 warrior who has little time to do quests ( whenever im on my guild calls me ) what im wondering is....has any other iksar tried to do this quest? and if so what was your faction at? and has any monk tried to turn in the items FD if they are KoS just getting info so i dont get all the no drop items and have to work 20 hours to get my faction up

I take it a lvl 39 Warrior would not be tough enough for this quest????

I am wondering... I just got all 12 pieces and have no box to combine them in. Do I hand all 4, 1 set at a time, back to Yurddle?

Am told you can gain Katta faction by killing the Coterie's in Tenbrous mountains...

Holin Aeridia's Crypt

Aeridia Family Signet Ring: Drops off a Neculas (or Recuso?) smuggler in Marus Seru. Loc is n915, p1500. There are 4 guys standing by the zone wall.. they can be either smugglers or regular Recusos.

Sealed Golden Scroll Tube: Buy from Mark Blotter, the general spell vendor in Shadow Haven midst area. 1000 gp.

Faded Silver Embroidered Robe: Drops off Rolktim Cogtop. He is standing behind Ebben's Tavern, loc approx n1243, n636. Light blue to 56, no faction hits.

Tarnished Copper Runed Wand: Drops off Bertol Flagerty in the Twilight Sea just outside the Katta zone. On the same island as the small Inn and 2 docks, but not on the actual docks themselves, on the south side of that island. Green at 57. No faction hits.


Raien Taliker's Crypt

Ancient Ornate Combine Dagger: Drops off Maricella Slithra in the Paludal Caves. She spawns at n1424, p1374 (just outside the camp with Yelloweyes, close to Shadowhaven) She has a place holder. Spawn time is approx. 13 minutes and she doesn't drop it every time.

Taliker Family Signet Ring: Drops off Fierdo Brigged in Twilight sea. On the same island as the small Inn and 2 docks, not on the actual docks themselves, on the south side of that island. Green at 57. No faction hits.

Faded Portrait of a Lady: Buy from Pietro Guiccini. He is at the Inn near the bank -upstairs in the northeast corner of Shadow Haven. He doesn't have any bracketed text, but if you say something like "I would like to buy a portrait," he'll tell you that for 1000 gold pieces he'll sell you one.

Antique Platinum Medal: Drops off Ebben (inside Ebben's Tavern). He cons light blue at level 55. None of the other mobs in the bar joined in. No faction hit.


Shoeon Malicus Crypt:

Gold Embroidered Kilt: Drops off Missy McElle. She can be found in a corner of Fungus Grove's outpost section - Loc is approx. n1130, n800. She cons light blue to 56, no faction hits.

Silver Embroidered Tabard: Drops off Malda Braltek in the Twilight Sea. On the same island as the small Inn and 2 docks, but not on the actual docks themselves, on the south side of that island. Green at 57. No faction hits.

Ancient Ceremonial Warhammer: Drops off RECUSO smugglers in Marus Seru. They are located at n915, p1500, and don't always drop an item.

Old Sealed Medicine Pouch: Buy from Alchemist Hikel in Shah Vahl for 1000gp (trigger phrase is "What old sealed medicine pouch") n255 n380. She's right next to the bank.


Yurddle is found WAY high up in Katta, go up and up until you can't go up anymore. You turn in the items to Yurddle and he gives you a box. Yurddle will tell you who needs what box etc. The Ghost (invisible mob) spawns to Yurben's left as soon as you hand all 4 items in. Just give the box he gave you to the ghost.


The hardest part of the quest seems to be the Ancient Ornate Combine Dagger, because of the time involved. She does not pop often and doesn't have the dagger every time.

what is the name of the guy who drops the Talimar Family Signet Ring ? On that island there is two male hobbits. On is in the house and with 2 drofs and the other is on the shore of the isle with a human and halfelf. I think i am killing the right one.

I did quest last night, followed what Peter C said and went like a charm. But i did find out that when u go to turn it all in the npc gives you a box for a ghost. A ghost will spawn behind the cartaker. I almost lost it all due to I play with npc names off and this ghost was invis besides his name. But a nice paly showed up and saw him and now my time was well worth it. A very nice sword and only took me 3 hours

I'm still bugged a little bit about that line about asking merchants about missing items.. in shadowhaven there are a few guys that look like theyre vendors but they dont have stock yet and say they are missing or waiting for their stuff.. well after hearing that you can kill the guys in fungus w/o stuff jumping in to help i went and aggroed one of these vendors (one by the bazaar zone) well like 5 or 6 guards jumped me and i zoned after taking 1200 pts like in 4 seconds.. i guess that wasnt it :) After I kill the 3 in fungus i might try attacking some of the other guys in the hut w/ebben.. like the female ogre.

The only other thing I can think of right now besides going thru katta and sanctus seru and some of the other zones i havent explored very much is to look for caster and shaman NPC's that might be by themselves.. to me the 4 Malicus items sound like Shaman items, particularly barbarian shaman items (and one dropped off a female barbarian) kilt, medicine pouch, tabard, warhammer.. and the 4 Aeridia items sound like int caster items, robe, scroll tube, wand and ring (well ring is generic) and robe dropped off a caster looking guy. The others.. hmm maybe melee (since caster and priest taken already) and rogue in particular.. dagger off bandit, medal off rogue type in fungus, painting that might have been stolen and you have to fence for (or could kill him for it i havent tried that but dont need to, 100pp is no biggie) and another generic ring.. just a thought. Maybe talimar/kar ring drops off another type of bandit in the game somewhere. Just a thought.. i'll keep eye out for solitary barbarian npcs like missy and caster types.
