Solo'd as a 29 Necro on the progression server. Dropped BAM. He spawned at the fountain that has three spawns, and so did Battlelord Paluk in the same cycle.

Im not too sure about the whole root and dot method ive trusted and used for centuries now. I battled this guy with my 42 druid, rooted, dotted, stepped out of range(also behind a door). I got nuked a few times, healed myself and continued to med. Root and dots fade, so I go back to where he was. He is full health, and he nukes me 3 times, pushes me in the water, and begins to chew on my right leg. So, next time I face him(i prolly wont), we shall have a nuke fest.

lvl 33 warrior soloed him just now finished him off with 40 percent health left he took me for 1000 hp

Heres the plan, we run to the bottom get the treasure and run back up. Well, the best laid plans never survive when battle starts. 29 ench, 25 cleric and 26 pal go down to the old warlord room for a little action. We get down there and take on a foeslicer, not to bad a fight. The pally gets bored quick and wants to pull (. So he brings back Mr. Unak with 2 friends. Let the fun begin. I (the enchanter) start mezzing Unak's pals, throw debuffs and dot on Unak. The pally and my pet start beating on Unak and the cleric is healing the pally. Well Mr Unak did not like the healing so he decieded to end the clerics life. 2 dd's later cleric was dead. Meanwhile a Zek on the other side of door was healing Unak, not good. I throw a couple a mezzes on everything in room and yell run. Halfway up I get rooted through the walls, very annoying. I mem gate real quick and gate out, the pally somehow got out with 1 bulb of life. Well we all get back in zone and Mr. Unak is standing at the gorge zone, very decent of him to wait for us. Not being kos to him we all sat at his feet and med and buff to get rdy to take him again. This time the battle goes much different with no adds to help him. We take him down fairly easy this time. But this whole process was a 20 min battle. Very fun. Loot was only some coins ( . He conned yellow to a lvl 29. Think we are going to go back down a try him again.

If so, I would appreciate any tips you can give.

42 Erudite Necromancer of Cazic Thule

Alright, just last night me, a lvl 33 sk, a lvl 31 ranger, and a lvl 38 ranger took this guy out two times. The first time we took him I had aggro the whole time and I barely survived the battle (left with about 50hp and no mana). Unak immediatly respawned near the bank area for some reason. He aggroed on the 38 ranger and killed him pretty quick, I had to feign death to stay alive, the 31 ranger managed to zone out.

After we got the ranger's corpse recovered we went in the bank room to prepare to kill Unak again. This time I summoned my skelly pet, the ranger's put all buffs they had available on me and them and even some on my pet. We left the bank room and singled out Unak and killed him with ease. I had aggro the whole time and was left with over half health after batte and about 1/5 mana left. Buffs help immensly with Unak, especially endure fire, cold..etc.

Also, I was using a MoSS and the 2 rangers had thier fastest weapons out. Unak was interrupted many times because of all the hits on him. Use the fastest weapons you have avaible to increase the interrupts of his spell casting.

His nukes range from 100 to 240+ dmg. Im pretty sure he can aoe snare too. After 2nd battle all of us including my pet were snared.

And about his spawn area, he dosent have one. He can spawn pretty much anywhere on 4th lvl.

His drops can range from nothing at all to the BA Medallion, any BA armor, and Ba coif I think. Not really sure on the coif though.

I was just able to solo this guy with my 38sk. Was only at about 40mana and 80health when I started him. Was left with 28hp and no mana

Hey all im camping the moldmaster for 4 days now but want to say some thing for a 53 shaman with a pet that con light blue to me and regen and speed on him the battlewiz i have to say is the hardies one in the zone have to heal my pet or dot the wiz to kill him i just dot him make it faster ) i hope this help GL all and good hurting

Where does he spawn?

I've had a destroyer drop the BABS ..lord drop Grotesque Alloy Mask..and all of em drop the BA armor..i walked out with 2 full sets plus a lil extra..also made 400pp in my 6 hours down there..got a few fire emeralds (i think that was their name [gems])
