After all these years the site still has the name of mob wrong. It is "a dracnid retainer" as you can see in the screen shot above. Dropped Crystallized Blade today on Ragefire.

Could a lvl 43 SK take solo him in his little room? How much Hp does he have. I am ok equipped.

Umm No your wrong its the Drachnid Purifier who drops the shoes and drachnid Lurker which drops the Spider fang choker
Killed him about... mmmm 20 or 30 times, and he drop boots 3 times. But, i still waiting to see Lurker and Purifier show them face, never saw them, only got retainer and queen.
BTW, Queen; Conned DB to me at 53 but with a 2 root and 2 Winged Death DOT she was down very fast, Retnaire; conned Green (at 53) and killed him with 2 root and 1 DOT.

As collosally ugly as this guy is, he doesn't have the common decency to hide his face.
Or:
Although he spawns in the queen room, he wanders up the spider caves. I was solo'ing in the caves (L44 necromancer) and twice within a coupla hours he wandered up and attacked me. I wasn't hunting anywhere past the bridge room and I was quite close to the entrance both times he attacked.
Having said this, for a low thirties mob, he's pretty weak. I'd normally expect that he would tear my pet to shreds, if not feared. But, this was not the case. I was casting Venom of the Snake and Asystole and he didn't get my pet past about 50% health either time.
Anyhow, hope this helps.

Yes, dropped some Crystal Lined Slippers AC: +5 Wisdom: +3 Int: +3 all/all, as well as a Spider Fang Choker AC: +3 Sta: +2 Agi: +2 Magic Resist: +5 Cold Resist: +5 Mana: +20

Around what level is the rest of the things in that zone? Do you have to have a full group or be a high lvl and kill your way to that piticular spot that he spawns?

Alright, I would like to know some basic info about this guy because I haven’t decided if I want to got camp this guy or go to DL. Could a 39 nec solo it? How much does he hit for? Well, ive done this camp area before. The retainer spawns in the queen's room if im not mistaken with about 7 to 10 other level 30 to 35 spiders so there is alot of potential for some nasty stuff to happen. In other words i dont suggest u try it alone at 39 but its none the less up to you.

do a price check in ur server in an area of high trading (east commons tunnel). then work with the prices from there, but i wouldnt sale it for no less than 200pp

I have been camping the queen for a week seen the webshield about everytime sold one for 800pp and the 2hnder also been waiting for the 1hnder with no luck killed him prolly 2 dozen times to let ya know how rare the sword is

a group of us camped him today, and he dropprd the web shield, both swords 1hs/2hs and later dropped a named axe, but stats were 18/37 +5 sta 2hs (gave it to a guildmate)

So, when did verant decide to nerf him? Earlier this year I got Crystalized Sword (11/29) now hes only dropping blade.... Thanks Verant, you've managed to waste more of my time

I camped the queen-room a week ago, and the Crystallized Blade (Paladin/Shadowknight only) dropped every time, about 4-5 times during a 6-7 hour session, off this creature. And not one single Crystallized Sword dropped. Was I just extremely unlucky or was it Murphy who tricked me because I was there for the Sword? :)

Killed this guy 4 times today. 3 times he dropped a Crystallized Blade(13dmg 31dly 1HS Pal Shd). He also dropped the shield once. Anyone know if the blade's for a quest?

This nasty spider also drops a crystallized 2H sword which is IMHO inferior to its 1H cousin

the common is the sword but his rare drop is a crystal websheild AC15 +20mana +20HP +10 save on cold
