I assume that the item "gift of insight" was really a scroll of insight. The scroll is one of 4 scrolls that drop off high lvl Rats in DN for a quest for highelf wizzies that worship tunare. The quests starts in PoG and has the reward of a face item called the Visage of Life (preatty nice).

he dropped a Gifft of Insight scroll when we took him down, +8 wis, but interestingly enough, not equipable. We gave the item to our shaman, asuming it probably is some sort of caster quest type item.
If anyone knows anything about this it would help everyone

The shield you see in the picture is a 19ac 10sv fire shield that you can also wear in the back slot. Seems to be one of the more rare drops from DN as we've only came across one so far in our farming. Not a great item but not a bad ac item for a tank if they aren't using back haste item (ie CoF, CoCW)

Just went today, we got five of those shields, there was no taker for it (it's medium and small races only!) so some guy took the last for his level 10 rogue twink.

We get about 3-4 of these per night, if we have enough folks to clear the Chetari warrens. They drop most often off the Hunters.
