1) after turning in message to natasham you have a SHIMMERING pearl. Go to SoL B. A human version of Zordak Ragefire is there. Give him the SHIMMERING pearl. He gives you a SWIRLING pearl and despawns. POOF.
1b) He is not related to Nagafen pop.
2) Go to SKYFIRE mountains. Get cozy. You will be here for a bit. SAME scenario as previous SolB encounter. Human merchant spawns. DONT TURN ANYTHING IN. Just KILL him. POP Dragon Zordakalicus Ragefire! KILL HIM! Take heart container, and SWIRLING pearl combine them. turn that in to Omat Vastsea. Rest of epic unchanged.
I will give you the last one month trend on my server, maybe this will help.
118 Hours Pop Zordak Ragefire 119 Hours Pop Zordak Ragefire 156 hours Pop Zordak Ragefire 147 Hours Zone Crash 16 hours after reset Pop Zordak Ragefire Will post next pop here
many of the clerics on quellious server have banded together in a code of honor...
there is now a waiting list to camp ragefire... the system seems to be working well as all the clerics on the list work together to help camp and kill ect...
so far at least 20+ clerics are on the list ..
and for anyone wondering.. rage is a 5 day spawn and a few hours....
Currently there is an absurd spawning time of about a week for ragefire. On top of that you have to pray not to get KS'd by the bigger / stronger guilds out there. There currently is a petition out there to have the spawning rate changed. Please sign there and support your fellow EQ community.
I've been reading a lot of conflicting information recently on this guy. Can a cleric who has done their quest recently (within the last month) please post a note stating if this guy still spawns anymore?
I've read that you had in your shimmering pearl to the merchant and he poofs and you then have to go all the way to Skyfire to get the KOS version. I thought when they changed it, they essentially gave you two options:
After he poofs you can either wait another 12-24 hours and the KOS version will spawn in SOL A or
go to Skyfire where a KOS version spawns every 3-5 days.
So in effect they reduced the time of the triggered spawn SOL A version from 1-3 days to 1/2-1 day, and added a non-triggered always there spawn in Skyfire but with an extended spawn time of 3-5 days. Or at least that is what I think happened. Some places I'm reading say that only in Skyfire can the KOS version be found. Can a cleric who has done this quest recently please clear up the confusion.
you must go to skyfire and sit for days on end and pray that your guild has the numbers to kill it when it does actually spawn. Our cleric just got it tonight on Sol Ro after 10 days of camping it. *sigh* .. but YAY GRATZ SHYONE!!
Anyone know if the new container is NO DROP or NO RENT ? camping him now with guild to help, but if its no drop or no rent could dent up plans on the multi. thanks
nobody cares how tough he is nobody cares how much his melee ae does and nobody wants to hear a long raid story what we really wanna know is Whats the deal on the spawning issue already! it does tie in to solb turn in, it doesnt tie in to solb turn in, would you do turn in and not camp it? not me, but when you do do turn in, expect others to be there already camping him
Since nobody really posts any useful info on the mobs, I decided I would be the one to do it. Since the patch, they have buffed Zordak in his dragon form up greatly. The dragon is now level 60, hits for around 250, and has the same AE fear for 500 damage, which is much much much harder to resist because its level 60. Before the patch my guild was easily able to kill Zordac in his dragon form with 2 groups of 57+, but now this guy requires a full raid force of at least 30+ people. I suppose verant did this so the less uber guilds have an even harder shot at getting a cleric epic.
i wish the picture was smaller so i can read the info that is listed here, i've tryed everything to get the picture out of the way but nothing has worked can anybody tell me what is said or has a way to get the picture out of the way please
Hey peeps....need some input rather quickly here. Got a guy who is gonna sell me a "red dragon scales" for about 10k. Is this the same thing as "a red dragon scale" used in the warrior/bard epic? And if not--->What are "red dragon scales for"?
I think it is NOT the same. I know that there is something that has a similar name to the one that the red dragons drop, but it is used for the wurmslayer quest. Be very very careful when buying the scale, make sure that it is the correct scale. They both have very similar names.
how has the change to the end of the cleric epic effected this spawn? The post is the developer's corner said he is no longer tied to naggy spawn. Does he pop somewhere else? Did the do an addition to solB? Do they both still pop in Naggy's Lair, so they could both be up at the same time?
Zordakalicus Ragefire does indeed spawn in Skyfire Mtns., but his spawn time is NOT every 24hrs., its more like once a week (approx every 6 days, to the best of my knowledge) and he is pretty much constantly camped.
I know exactly how Kollins feels. Bards always get the damn shaft. Blazing armor line should have been made bard only since the stats on them complement our class in particular. If it were thief useable id go with the thief only tag, but out of the classes that CAN use it...bard is the one who would benefit the most.
The next time you see me happy, singing, and gay, ive probably just trained someone.)>
Depending on your class/race, the fairly low-cost route that works well, IMHO: Head: Crown of the Froglok Kings Range: Runed Bone Fork Back: Kunzar Cloak Shoulders: Netted Kelp Amice (jewelry slots): Anything with Blue Diamonds or Emeraldsno, blue diamonds aren't really cheap Feet: Tribal War boots Waist: Drakescale Belt
Obviously there are many other items that will give you better stats, but these came to mind when you mentioned Fire resist and I know that they won't break your bank if you have a toon above 50 (basically meaning you can farm some cash to fund your equipment buying needs). Hope this helps... I'd have to know your race/class to make a more personalized recommendation.

Can Epics be multiquested? like say i have a friend who is not a cleric loot a pearl for me because i died, when it gets to the end... if he turns in pearl and i turn in other pieces... will i ge tthe epic?
you cant multiquest a piece no, but all the mobs you need to kill, for the most part, are over 50, and therefore have a 30 minute corpse timer on them... meaning youll have plenty of time to get rezzed and loot your piece.
...the pearl isnt looted its the piece you get for turning in other pieces from the sarnak overking and ixablit fer
Actually...yes Epics can be MQ'd get your facts straight, I just had a friend hand in a Chunk of Tundra for druid epic to the withered treant and then I handed in the lakewater and ancient rock...worked fine..I got the treant heart...
Also, My friend was so excited when he killed Xenovorash in LoIO that once he got to the true form of kairen(sp?) in TT he handed in the book and fangs at the same time, well he forgot to hand in the book 1st than get it back as different book, he was devestated,I said well just hand him back the book he just got the fangs...and sure enough, Msg and Celestial Fists in inventory.
So basing it upon these 2 seperate instances, I would have to say that yes, Cleric Epic can be multied since I was able to multi on the druid epic and my friend "technically" multied the final part to complete the monk epic :P
The other thing to keep in mind, is that, at least for the cleric epic, several pieces are used to spawn something. Someone can get the item needed to spawn the next mob, and then let the cleric loot the mob, getting the next item in line. The person who spawned it does not HAVE to be the one to loot it. The pearl is an example of one of those items, however, it is unlikely that anyone would ever do that much of the quest if they were not clerics.
A few Days ago Zordak Rageifre, and my guild killed him and Zordaklius or whateer in under 3 mins, noone died not even me, a lvl 40 ranger, and my resists are all under 40
A lvl 40 ranger with resists under 40 didn't die against Zordak? Hehe thats probably because you got feared immediately and ran out of the room, out of range of his ae. If you even attempted to melee him you would have been fried by his Lava attack in a few seconds.
Im a 57 cleric and i completed the epic....Ragefire can spawn anywhere from 24 hours to 80 hours after Nagafen is dead the merchant form spawns u turn in a piece he attacks then hes killed which triggers the dragon form, hes pretty easy i had about 3 and a half groups all range from 56 to 60 and it was all done within 5 mins at the most, pretty lame camping him 4 days for a 5 minute fight but glad its done with
First off: he is ONLY triggered by killing Lord Nagafen or the previous Ragefire. Killing fire giants won't do anything but get your low lvl tanks some better equipment.
Second: he drops some very nice no drop orange armor sometimes and it rots FAST. This guy is lvl 54 or less because the no drop armor rots in 10 minutes exactly.
Third: hes basically the same as nagafen except he has reaaally high resists. I mean I sat in his belly using jbb and it resisted half the time. You would have to malo and tash both probably to land a slow on this guy, he just resists too much.
Forth : 480dmg ae fire breath with combined dispel and occaisional dragon roar, so if yer not a monk put on disc resist and use all the resist secrets you have. Fire resist should be approx 80 to 100 before buffing / bard songs or you will just take too much ae.
Fifth : If you are a monk and you start gettin agrod other than ripose, /disc stonestance, or yer toast. Zakani lvl 52 went down on nagafen in 4 rounds exactly while leadin a nag charge and he would have lasted about 7 or 8 rounds if he used stonestance.
Anyway, welcome to the most boring camp of the game clerics.
Ragefire seems to always spawn 8 hours after nagafen dies, then always 2 or 3 days later. By the time he respawns after that nagafen will show up, so dont even bother.
I would suggest tagging behind nagafen killers to exchange buffing for camp rights because he has spawned 8 hours after nagafen 3 times in a row now on my server.
