One of our guild clerics had 3 shards tonight when I logged on. About 10 of us average level 54 or so were chain pulling everything near the druid pad and after an hour we got his last shard. A few of them went to Sol B and did the turn in. We then all met ( about 12 of us at this point including a 65 mage to debuff ( GL ), me a 61 shaman to slow and a few tanks, 2 clerics, a few druids, chanter, and a few others ) at the NE corner to spaen Ragefire. The human version was cake, my slow stuck first cast and we dropped hi m in about a minute. The the dragon spawned. I got hammered constantly as I had to cast slow 4 times for it to stick. MR and FR was 200/200 for the MT and me, others were 100+. Max hit was 300ish and he hit fairly slow. Only got feared once and ate a AE at 20% life that killed me. He was dead tho before slow wore off, so fight lasted about 4-5 minutes. Didnt realize that he debuffed or I would have cast my epic boots to avoid losing half my buffs. Dropped the epic piece and a few no drop plate class pieces. Much harder than a guardian wurm to kill ( his dragon form anyway ), but only me, one cleric and the MT died, got 90% rez and am happy for my guildmates.

A friend of a friend of a friend needed a quest item for her cleric epic so I gave a lending hand last night.
It was a piece of cake with about 20 ( heh ) lvl 50-60 chars, we only had about 4 tanks.
Some advice....when you get there turn off your SOW and your run because this mob fears a lot. If you are only crawling around then its not a big deal but with Sow on you could be half way across the zone.
I was happy I won my first drop last night and got the bracers and the cler. got her epic. All and all it only took about an hour from buffing to finishing.

The speed at which you run when feared is now constant. Doesnt matter if you are sowed or walking or whatever.

The spawned one in Naggy's Lair is for a quest.

Does not drop the cloak of flames anymore as of the zone re-vamps by SOE, just my 2cp.

He DOES still drop the Cloak of Flames as of 1 week ago on a friend's Ragefire kill for her epic.

Killed him last night on Druzzil with 21 people. 63 SK as MT, 2 clerics (59 and 63) and 1 enchanter (64, me) and a handful of other backup classes. Avg. Level on raid was 60. He dropped in less than a minute. I resisted all fears and DD with 150 MR and 185FR
We were a young guild still, trying to make it up to the big leagues, we finally found this guy, when we heard another guild was coming to kill us (tallonzek) and take our dragon, we imedietly pulled him, MA's went down after the human was killed and the entire raid went into zerg mode Lol. We had just enough people to zerg him to death without a tank or much of healing at all.

Just did Zord with 18 pop-hardened people, avg lvl raid was 62... He lasted about 20 seconds.
I hit Trueshot, and did 13,000 damage.
The cleric had looted and camp-saved before Trueshot even wore off.
So sad.

After he is killed you got a message:"Your faction standing with ZordakRagefire got worse" But why there is a faction on him, its useless.

Or, you could have all the clerics that need Ragefire camp their shards ahead of time, so everybody has their shards before you start this. BTW, I got all my shards last night in about 2 hours, so it doesn't always take days... Its all a matter of luck.

I hope Talendor pops so i can solo his ***. some people should think before posting. maybe there should be some quiz before u post to ban the dumbasses from boards. =p
What part of "get more shards... " makes you think this can be redone every 20 minutes? It takes DAYS to get all 4 shard (if you're lucky).
Don't be fooled folks. This method won't get you a Ragefire every 20 minutes, it'll just keep you in Skyfire for the rest of your EQ life!

We did Ragefire early in the morning with one group. Myself a Warrior with about 7800 HP fully buffed, Cleric, Shaman, Rogue, Enchanter and Mage . After taking him down, our Shaman (who was busy running around the zone with nothing to do) saw Talendor and we thought, why not. Took him down as well with the same group. Not a bad way to start the day.

Did him with 9 people tonight. 65 chanter, 65 druid, 63 warrior, 62 shaman, 61 shaman, 61 mage, 60 beastlord, 60 ranger, 57 cleric.
Load up on lots of junk buffs, get fire and magic resist as high as possible. Insta click items like telescope, jboots, coldain rings, mage water stones - these are great for balancing the dispell effects.
Besides that, he's pretty weak...

We killed this guy last night with about 35 people. We had about 10 deaths. He only hits as hard as Lord Nagafen and doesn't seem to have whole lot more HP. At 51 with no resist gear (kinda sad I know) I resisted every fear and only took his DD full once. It was a fun fight and I hope to knock him dead again.

Can anyone confirm that the red dragon scale no longer drops off ragefire. That seems to be the consusus but I really want to make sure. thanks

Just killed Ragefire for cleric epic last night. He conned even to my 60 mage...just wanted to correct the beastiary so all would know

Has anyone gotten any of the decent loot drop off the new Triggered Ragefire? We've killed him twice in the last week for some of our Clerics, and the only things we've gotten lately are bits of "Blazing" armour. Not much use for the non-Plate classes. Oh, and that grotty "Plasmatic Priest Robe" off the Human form of Ragefire, for Casters wanting to impersonate him. :)
Ragefire's had the red dragon drops taken off him. He now drops only Blazing Armor of Fennin Ro, gems and the heart.
Killed him the other night and got Heart, two Greaves, Boots and a Diamond. I won the boots, which helped when we did Nagafen later that night.

We have killed him 6 times in the past 4-6 weeks and all 6 times he only dropped the "Blazing" armor and occasionally a gem and/or dragon meat (aside from the heart of course).
Seems to drop 2-4 pieces of armor each time.

I've seen both the CoF and a Red scale drop off the triggered zordak (not at the same time though).

Killed twice tonight, bunch of Blazing stuff and gems, that was it. In the 5 times I've killed have never seen CoF or Bag drop.
Killed him 4 times in 2 weeks. I have only seen the 'Blazing' armor drop. Worth noting, Ragefire dropped 2 BPs on the last kill (spawned/killed twice in an hour). But, still, no CoFs.
I've seen the Red scale and Satchel drop.

Killed him twice in 2 days, only got blazing stuff, and Blue Diamonds.
Ragefire now triggered? Don't have to wait for it to spawn? You need to find shards that drop in sf and chardok? Then give them to Warder Cecilia? Also have a turn in to a npc in solb first before turning stuff in to Warder Cecilia? Our guild just killed him on sunday. I got the red scale for my epic, cleric got his click stick afterwords :) Still not sure on the full details how to get it to spawn and what you need?
Well, here is the info on the last part of the cleric epic:

1. Run to Natasha in Timorous Deep and give her the Message to Natasha. Get a shimmering pearl.
2. Camp Zordak Ragefire in Solusek B and give him the shimmering pearl. Get the swirling pearl & the Box of Binding.
3. Kill random mobs in Sky Fire Mountains, obtain 4 pearlescent fragments
4. Go to LOC p3200 n3200 - Big Dragon statue. Hail the Warder, combine the 4 shards in the Box of Binding, give box to Warder. The human Zordak Ragefire will then spawn.
5. Kill Zordak Ragefire in SFM, and then his dragon form, Zordakalicus Ragefire, and loot "Impure Heart of Ragefire".
6. Combine the Swirling Pearl & the Seal in the Heart. You receive the "Heart of Ragefire". Give this to Omat for the Orb of Vapor.
Final Hand-In
1. Give the Orb of Frozen Water, the Orb of Clear Water, and the Orb of Vapor to Jhassad Oceanson for the Orb of Triumvirate.
2. Give the Orb of Triumvirate to the Avatar of Water for the Water Sprinkler of Nem’Ankh.

I was randomely invited by a very cool guild to join them on this final part of the quest. We downed him twice an had a total of 1 death (not the MT) due to whatever but we got two cleric epic pieces and a few pieces of ro gear. I also won gaunts of fiery might which isnt listed as a drop but they did drop. Anyways gratz to Formidable on Inny server for 2 epic clerics
Now level 60 in Skyfire.

This part of the quest is much better after the patch. You must have a cleric at this point w the epic to get the warder to activate the spawn and the cleric needs the 4 shards off random mobs in the zone.
We did this tonite and 2 blazing vambs dropped along with the epic piece )

Are you a cleric? If so what level? These might have a factor in it or how far you are into epic.
