im a lvl 19 necro and im looking for this mask to help with my fear spell. i here of a place called the maurders cave in fob what is loc or how can i find it. PST to manapause on povar or reply here,thx.

i fought one of these with a 18 caster the same lvl as me but i'm a warr and the guy here that said his taunt is still awful at lvl 17 is retarded i'm lvl 18 war and my taunt is already 70!

Nani? Pardon the n00b here but I'm an HE war (you can stop laughing ya know...) anyhoo I'm having one hell of a time trying to taunt! All wars are supposed to be able to taunt the mobs off casters right? Well for some reason I cant. D'oh! I've been using taunt nonstop from lev 1 but my skill hasn't even moved from awful! I have 75 charisma, is that the problem? Will this mask help? Will someone please respond?

Aye, taunt is bugged. You have to put a skill point in it for it to go up, even if you get it at level 1.
And as far as I know, charisma has nothing to do with your ability to taunt. After all, why would you want to beat on a handsome person's face? ;)

ya, CHA has nothin to do w/ it, at all, im a 41 warrior and i got somethin like 200 in taunt, but sometimes i still fail to take the agro off of casters, i does work most of the time though...

i put the mask on and used tuant cuase it had a good ac and then everything in the world tried to kill me cuase i had like a 5 charisma and all.... it did help with the tuant though, but creathers keept running by and giving me one good smack and running off

Doesn't happen ofter, but I've tracked a few that are Red to me at 23. THey are pretty uncommon however.

I just dropped one of them, it conned even formidable. It spawned inside marauder caves in FoB, dropped the mask...

Don't know about bard charms, but enchanter's charm wouldn't work on these mobs or any other like them. Charm doesn't affect lvl 24+ or thereabouts mobs. Need to use the upgrade Beguile in order to affect them.

Actually, anyone that can charm. I have been trying for nearly the whole level, and what I have found is that NO iksar npc's in the Lake can be charmed. I am a 27 bard, and I can't charm Marauders... its sad, but true... so throw that plan out the window =(

All Iksar NPCs are immune to charm.

The mask the pariah drops is all/all, so it makes a good piece of newbie caster armor (AC 5). This is one of the highest AC masks I've seen yet. Too bad it's -25 CHA instead of +25 CHA :(

at 24, they ranged from blue to yellow... not sure about level 28... They never conned red to me!

At level 20, most of them /con red, but today one was a "dangerous" blue. That would put it at lvl 19.

Level is more like 24-28 - I started soloing in Lake of Ill Omen at L29 and have never seen a Pariah that was less than blue-formidable at that level. Even at L30 now, I see the occassional green pariah, but most are still blue-formidable.

drops Forsaken Pariah Mask, ac +5 but cha -25 magic, lore, no drop. if you must wear this thing, take it off before you sell/buy from vendors ;)
