Pulled 4th floor tower, we couldnt handle and had to zone, mobs were trashed up by folks PLing near entrance. IVUed to check cons when room re-popped, 2 GDB's there, no idea if this was flukey or if they increased spawn % there
At the main basement room (#7 of the basement part on EQ Atlas), he is one of the PHs in front of the festering hag (middle of the whole room). At his place, it can be festering hag, werebat, or various skellies.
If you venture farther down, #8 on EQ Atlas, or the end of the lava pool, he will be one of the monsters guarding the entrance to the tunnel, The other one is festering hag. At this place, festering hag and greater dark bone seem to be the only mobs at their respective places.
I killed about 5-6 greater dark bone before obtaining one skull. Hope you have better luck.

They spawn on the top (4rd) floor of the back of the castle and in the basement. I camped the top floor for a few hours 3 days in a row and did not see one. In the basement i got one off of the 2nd one I killed. When I went back the brecelet for the second bracer, I was there for 2 hours buffing a group of people that could exp off of the mobs. The basement is a much tougher place. My advice? Get a good group together, or have one char (not in group) /shout a big warning and train the place out. While the mobs are lurking around upstairs, the group can sneak into the basement and set up camp, picking the mobs off as they return.

I went to Unrest twice yesterday to get the bracelet for the Bard Lambent Bracers...once for myself and once for a friend. Each time I killed a Greater Dark Bone the Dark Boned Bracelet dropped. Since I only killed two, can't say that it does drop every time, or if I just got lucky with the drops.

what lvl is unrest ? can a lvl 29 monk solo the greater dark bone???
I persoanly killed 10 of these and had a bracelet on 8 of them the other two had the skull.

Yah i also tried getting them.. spent about an hour here.. never got 1. got the charm easily some guy just killed a griffene and had a charm on it.. lucky me i guess.. i also found vendors to sell all the gems needed pretty easily.. just expensive 50pp-150pp each x_x

Okay, I've spent over 11 hours on the *easiest* bard lambent quest, 7 hrs trying to get griffene charm & now this! My small group has killed probably 30 to 40 of them & haven't seen a drop yet! That is more on the extremely-never-seems-to-drop rare column more than uncommon.

Yup. The braclets they drop are part of the Bard Lambent Bracer.

Me and some friends killed about 15 of these buggars last night and didnt get any loot at all but some small change, unfortunatly for my friend who is going for his lambent...=0)

You must be lucky for the Greater Dark bones are typically the cheapest of the skellies in Unrest..as they seem to often not even carry any change and carry bronze much less often then the barbed bones and Dry bones do....

These drop a LOT of small bronze armor. I've gotten almost a full suit in 5 hours of camping the pit area. They also drop the Darkbone Bracelet (for Lambent Bracers) and the Darkbone Skull (for the acumen mask as I recall).
