He's a merchant in one of the Clocktowers. He sold to me with Apprensive or Dubious faction. One or the other.

I am an Iksar, and have no way to buy MQ ore. Can you raise faction with this little punk, so that I can buy from him? Anyone know how?

I believe him to be a member of the Eldrich Collective. I have yet to prove it tho. If that is true then there is a way to raise his faction. Going to see if I can..

When he's killed the faction hits are : -King of Akanon, -Merchants of Akanon, -Gemchoppers and -Deep Muse.
I believe he's a member of the Deep Muse faction since I have indifferent or better faction with the other 3 factions. He still cons dubious to me.

I have the following on my High Elf Wizard who worships Tunare is Apprehensive to Godbin. To
the best of my memory the factions are:
King Ak'Anon/Gemchoppers - Amiable
Merchants - Apprehensive
Deep Muse - Apprehensive (not 100 percent sure)
Eldrich - Indifferent
BUT, I created a gnome cleric of Bristlebane:
Deep Muse/Gemchoppers - Amiable
Merchants/King Ak'Anon - Indifferent
Godbin - Indifferent
I also checked three factions with a gnome
cleric of Brell that were the same: Godbin,
Gemchoppers, Merchants.
It looks to me like he is actually merchant afterall. I am slowly raising my merchant faction
and hope to know before I go insane turning in
quest items. Can someone double check these
results?

I bought a useless cloth cap from him, and I do say, that is really useless
A Cloth Cap (NOT small) is needed for the gnome int caster's newbie armor, so I wouldn't exactly call it useless.

I wouldn't call it useless per se... more or less it's useless on this side of Erud's Crossing... these are dropped by Kobold Scouts for the most part in Toxxulia forest and are to be turned in to the skelly miners at the entrance to paineel... rarely, this results in a bone shield which is quite a sight actually.
