There is a Minotaur slave camp on the other side of the zone where there are normal strength Minnies as well. No hero's or boss Mino.

I killed about 10 of them with my 23 rogue the other day to get components for my wizard's newbie armor (needed two scalps). The minotaurs also dropped minotaur blood twice - which was marked as a magic item, was stackable and my gnome wiz (cha 65) could sell it to an ambialy merchant for exactly 3pp. What is it used for otherwise than some OK coin though?

wow this is cool, the only minotaurs I knew of where from the King Gorge maze or whatever and those were nearly impossible for my lv 14. I'm 16 now so these will be nice to fight for a while. I think the axes these drop will sell for some nice coin too.

One of these will spawn next to the Dragon Bones if you wipeout all of the higher level skeletons that spawn there. As an 11th level Ranger, I handled these with relative ease.

i'm a 14 level wizard and they are always conning blue to me though some did con white. they don't last long but they hit really hard.

These are kinda easy...

My lv 10 necro iky can solo these kinda easy... all i do is find one thats all alone, cling dark it, sick my pet on it, poison it, desease it, and fear it and then as the dots are causeing a buncha damage as hes running, my pet is beating it from behind, i just cast dark pact (2 hp for 2 mana over time spell, and im a ikky so the regen is really nice) and by the time the fear wears off hes already running away from my pet as im almost at FM

As a level 8, these con red to me, so they are at least level 11.

I agree with a few of the others; these guys are definetly above 9. I fought them at level 16 and still got good experience. They conned blue at the time.

I fought one at ranger level 11, it was tough. I was very close to the windmills! I did get the axe, it was well worth the fight.

If your hunting near the caves,watch yourself, these things are hard to spot in the hills. They drod decent coin for lower level players, but I've only gotten one ax after slaying a dozen. When in the actual caves, they just seem to appear. I no more than stuck my head down a hallway and had three of them on me.

I think the above post must be right im a lvl 10 wood elf ranger and mino slaver's are just to tough for me making them about lvl12.

There is no difference between A Minotaur Slaver and Minotaur Slaver. They run level 12-14 since the patch. Occasionally one can be found in the open near the mino caves a bit toward the windmills.

There may actually be a difference since from what I have heard "a Minotaur Slaver" is rumored to be the place holder for the Minotaur Hero. "Minotaur Slaver" is just a reg NPC. Just what I have heard anyway.

Careful when going in to the caves, though. Past the one at the entrance, it's tough to fight just one. You end up with 4 or more pretty fast.

These guys are found within the Minotaur caves in Steamfont. They will drop the Minotaur Battle Axe (dam 8, delay 37) and the minotaur horns (bard instrument and Ak'Anon quest item).

They tend to get stuck in the walls in the cave, so occasionally you'll get hit when you run down a hallway. Just take note of the location and avoid it. I've seen some that are level 11. Sometimes they spawn by the ancient dragon remains.
