Kizdean Gix  

So there are two different version of Kizdean Gix in Commonlands that share a spawn at location -200, 1025 and have a respawn time of 6M 25S after being killed.

Both dropped the Sealed Note [Kizdean Gix Note] and both respond to:

You say, 'The Dead'

Kizdean Gix says, 'The Dead are the combined might of the [Teir'Dal] shadowknights and necromancers. A mightier force cannot be found in all of Norrath.'

To get replies to Teir`dal, koada`dal and feir`dal you need to use backticks instead of forward ticks, regardless of the text provided:

"Haven't you been educated?! Pay attention, the Teir`Dal are the dark elves, the Koada`Dal are the high elves and the Feir`Dal are the wood elves."

You say, 'utalk adarev otcin'

Kizdean Gix says, 'You speak the words of the Dead. You must be the assistance Loveal was to send. You must work quickly! Inside Befallen are the three pieces to the [Thex Mallet] which are to be returned to Loveal. Find Hubard L`rodd. He was my assistant. Give him this note and he should have information.'

Receive: Tattered Cloth Note [Note To Hubard L'rodd]

But only version 1 would respond to [Thex Mallet]

You say, 'Thex Mallet'

Kizdean Gix says, 'The Thex Mallet is a very special weapon of elven creation. It is as ancient as Norrath itself. Queen Cristanos commands that we find it and return it to Loveal S'nez. That is all you need to know.'

and only version 1 would give the Sealed Letter [Letter To Loveal Of The Dead].

Kizdean Gix says, 'If you have business then out with it! If not, then please be gone. I have little time to waste on chitchat!'

You say, 'any messages for neriak'

Kizdean Gix says, 'It's about time a courier reached these wastelands of humanity. I have urgent news for the Dead. Take this message at once. Let no one stop you. Be on the lookout for the Feir'Dal [Silent Watch]! They have learned of our quest.'

Receive: Sealed Letter [Letter To Loveal Of The Dead]

You say, 'What Silent Watch?'

Kizdean Gix says, 'The Koada'Dal have created an elite band of paladins, greater even than our own Teir'Dal Dragoons. They exist on the edge of righteousness. They will perform despicable acts in the name of their deity, barely skimming the edge of evil.'

dropped the sealed note and Figurine Collector's Chest: Dolls at loc -180, 1046. His seems to roam I had to get my tracker to find him.

i found him just south of the new gaurd post in the new commonlands

I've heard that killing Dorn in NRO adds faction to Darkwater Knights. Does this guy add faction to Deepwater Knights too or is the faction list correct for this mob?

Dropped "Words of the Spoken" tonight.

did they change his lvl?a lvl 24 druid and kizadean gix conned d blue to white...

I've been using this guy for faction. I've found the best way to time him is to let his corpse rot. He respawns when corpse has 10-11 seconds to go. (Spawn time is just under 8 minutes).

Ah yes... the chance to strike back at Gix =D I killed this punk today with my 40 Rogue completely unbuffed.. Snuck up to him, used my sneak attack ablity and backstabbed for 189. He returned the favor with his Harmtouch, but i just stuck it out and melee'd him with the raise resistances combat ability on and dropped his punk-*ss like a bad habit in less then a minute... He tried to turn and run at 20% health.. but it was too late =D looked at my health bar.. he only hit took me down to 75% life. Revenge is bliss.. Now as i was emboldened, I tried soloing a HG, again.. unbuffed and promptly found myself running for my life to WC making it with 25% life to spare LOL!

Just a little info on the bugger. Casters have very little chance against this bugger i kinda realized today :( as i was in the zone to kill him with my druid for Faction to my epic. HE RESISTED my Immolation of Ro, All my Roots and Snares and im a 63 druid :D only the swarm spells hit him. Beware if your pure caster and going on this due

I killed him on my level 15 druid. he coned yellow so I went at him. I snared him and he resisted a few before I got it off. after that snare hit every other time. I put stinging swarm down on him and blasted when he was in range. i didnt get fear cause I stayed out of range with sow. it took all I had but finaly and with much fan fare I busted his chops like a troll in rivervale.

Killed on FV with my Ranger and at 20 I needed lots of help...Real undercon...
Anyway..he dropped a note that I can't find any info about, it doesn't seem to be related to any of the quests. It reads;

How dare you waste my time with this pitiful item.
I am power incarnate. I do not need such frilly items. I lay waste to the strongest adventurers who dare walk through the burning fields and into my realm.

SO he's such PITA becuase he obviously isn't getting any.

I ran into him as a lvl 12 druid and he made druid paste out of me. Fast forward a few months to lvl 44. OH revenge is SWEEET. He dropped dark elf parts and that note. I cooked the DE parts and ate them with VERY much pride. Heres to having GIX in for supper. (Drinks from a bottle of elven wine and chows down on Blackened Tier'Dal)
