just finished taking Fabled Tallon down molo
90 ranger took just over 5 hours 89dmg 25dly bow

Oh, Really? Which Third-Party software program were you two using, MMOPLUGINS?
It's really really not that hard to do - tallon zek doesn't summon and doesn't melee. You just need enough heals and cures to last the whole fight. While they certainly did 2 group it (and one annoying group from our server has 1-grouped him 7 times this year) what they don't mention is that this takes HOURS.
Wow.. very very, I'm impressed
This was mostly a ranged fight for my guild a few weeks ago. This is what we noticed:
1. Shadow stepping - Yep, he spam shadow steps throughout the entire fight, like every two seconds. This makes tanking him almost impossible.
2. Fling - He has an AE fling/gravity flux that makes tanking him even harder. We had to revise our strategy as tanking didn't seem to be viable in this encounter.
3. Summon - Nope, he doesn't summon at all (HINT HINT).
4. AEs - He seems to have target several people at once with his dots and nukes. Pretty nasty stuff. He aes once ever minute, it seemed. Group heals are important.
5. Melee output - At almost 5k ac buffed, he hit my level 80 WAR for a max of 5.7k. I think he flurried, and he definitely rampaged for full damage.
Took us 2 hours to kill him with 20+ people. He dropped 3 fabled items, plus the regular junk.

Just ghetto raided him (about 25 players, most with mercs) and it took about 2.5 hours of range attacks, and alot of dying to take him down.
If you're looking to do him, bring your casters and rezzers, as he has MANY millions of HP's.
Amazingly fun fight though!

1: Increase Poison Counter by 18
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 1000 per tick
3: Decrease Mana by 250 per tick
Audio Trigger text pattern: Poison flames burn across your body.
This is curable with pureblood (cleric/druid), blood of nadox (shaman), disinfecting aura (shaman), Word of Viv. (Cleric), potameid (ranger), and crusader (paladin)... there are some other spells that could cure it, but this should cover the basics. =)

Dropped 3 fabled battlefists for our raid.
Downed him today, the tactics one not time one. He dropped fabled bowx2 and fists x1. So 3 fabled loot

Fabled Time is still 1 fabled loot per mob, except Quarm who now drops 3 Fabled loots.

All the fabled mobs since going live. Have dropped 3 fabled items for my guild. We have killed everything but Time. I know time till recently was dropping 1 Fable per name. Now I heard it has been changed to 3. So far we either get three of one item or 1 of 1 and 2 of another.
