This mob is not currently in the gypsy camp in North Karana, I verified this today. So for now, or maybe forever there is not a way to trade in the GLS and LSs in NK on the newer Ragerfire server.

I too went looking for Mrysila at the gypsy camp. She's not there at all. Confirmed just now.
I don't know if she has moved since this post was originally made, but I found her at the gypsy camp in NK at -683, -156
any faction ajustment fo doing this in NK?
After I dinged 14 I took my Druid here to sell my 24 GLS that I looted in Erud's Crossing. I gained 1 1/2 bulbs of xp and I averaged 7pp 6g per GLS. Not a bad time :). I had 3 empty inventory slots and gave her 3 GLS at a time. Remember to give her the GLS and then sell the book back to her. You get the xp when you give her the GLS and you get the money when you sell the book back to her.

The rogue 'trick' to talking to any vendor is to use SNEAK. Just sneak and trade away. This method has been around for a long time, so it's not really a bug. I like to think of it as going in disguise. :-)

That won't, however, help you with the GLS quest. I tried hide/sneaking and handing em to her, sneaking and handing em to her, hailing her and handing em to her... she'll just take em and tell you she's not going to help you. Lousy ******.

here's a little trick for handing quest items to people you dont have good faction with... i havent tried it on the GLS quest but this is how i did one of the epic turn ins for my DE SK over and over to raise his truespirit faction so i could continue my epic...
1: target the quest mob.
2: hand the item/items to the quest mob.
3: DO NOT HIT GIVE!!!!!
4: hide!
5: con the quest mob... if it cons indifferent then you have successfully hidden and you should be able to hit give now and get the rewards even though your faction is not up... if it does not con idiff, then rehide/con until it does before clicking the give button.
I can't guarentee this will work with the GLS but it worked with the epic turnin early on before i had my truespirit faction built up.

I have been online about 3.5 hours in North Karana in the last two days hoping that Mrysila would be in the gypsy camp. I wanted to give her a few greater lightstones. However, she has not appeared. Has anyone seen her or know what happened to her?

I can confirm - my rogue was able to complete this by hiding/sneaking and turning in the lightstone & greater lightstone at the same time.

Just take them to southern desert of ro. There is another Gypsy that will take them there

Both books are for making the practice runes to raise your research.

She is at the gypsy camp. If you give her a greater lightstone, she will give some experience and a Concordance of Research. If you give her a lightstone, she will give some experience and one of two books at random. I know one of the books is for runes.
