Finally we crossed paths and I was able to get the -800 Qeynos guard faction that I have been looking for lo these many weeks. Just have Timbur left for the cheev.
I only saw him after I started clearing the west side of the zone. I sat at -1703, 990 and killed at that intersection of mobs, and periodically anything else I saw.
Life needs more cowbell.

I locked down the zone and killed him and his placeholders for a while. They spawn all over the place.
This is what I saw:
Respawn time was somewhere around 33s just judging by corpse timer vs. when it appeared on track.
He also drops Pair of Bent Spectacles, which isn't currently listed here. The earring seems to be his common drop.
Timbur the tiny actually spawned (on a hill between wizard spires and farmers) while I was doing this. I'm guessing he's on a longer respawn, as I hadn't killed anything else for about an hour.

- Lieutenant Midraim x5
- a borer beetle x2
- a griffawn x2
- a griffenne x2
- a grizzly bear x4
- a hill giant x1
- a lion x5
- a lioness x1
- a pincer beetle x3
- a scythe beetle x1
- a silvermist wolf x6
- a willowisp x5

Keep in mind that there is a spawn matrix in this zone. Meaning that if you kill a wisp,
it spawn as another mob. The same with the rest of the mobs.
They also spawn in groups of a mob as well
Also, the above does not show the spawn line to get Lieutenant Midraim to spawn

You can get that faction back by killing gnolls. No big deal.
This guy spawned in the far South West corner of the zone. Got lucky he was all alone when I got there. Doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason on PHs. Just kill stuffs.

Just killed him on bertox now. He was pathing east directly away from gypsies camp (Romella).
He does still spawn and I killed a crap load of wolves, griffons, bears, etc. I was actually trying to camp Bristle in that area.

Saw him today for the first time ever and killed him.
Your faction standing with Guards of Qeynos has been adjusted by -600
Antonius Bayle -60
Corrupt Qeynos Guards +90
Circle of Unseen Hands +150
Merchants of Qeynos -60
He also dropped a Granite Earring and a rusty short sword. The stats on the Granite Earring are +25 mana. Weight 0.1.

I have been doing the hunters for North Karana off and on for 3 or 4 months.
I finally got Lieutenant Midraim to spawn. The place holder I believe is one of [a silvermist wolf] or
[a highland lion] -> see bobbybick's post.
So when in north karana all the mobs turn into something else when killed.
So convert everything to lions or wolves and start killing them one at a time or a few of them.

Just killed him tonight and he drops Silvril Ore and a Rusty Short Sword also. Now to repair the faction I just ruined, hehe
I hunt in NK a lot farming HQ Lion Skins. I saw him for the first time ever tonight. He did spawn just north west of the gypsy camp. Despite the3 fact that AI was at the gypsy cam and was on my bard and ran directly to him. I got there just in time to see a griffawn kill him. He did get the griffawn to about half health before he died. Low HP and attacking just about anything that moves would suggest the reason you almost never see him is he just never lasts very long.

. I love that you have 2 posts on this creature 13 years apart though, probably one of the better features of alla comments is they are timeless. Anyway I saw this guy for the first time tonight as well... then a second time a bit later. (Waiting on Ashenpaw).
Locations observed, (583,-1263. This is a bit west of the EK bridge, north of the path.) and (-1429, 232. This is within spitting distance of the guard tower, slightly southwest).
Just to confirm what others have said also, this guy is on the Guard faction table, meaning he attacks almost everything he sees. The fact that he is level 14 and a large number of the trash mobs in the zone are of a similar (or higher) level means he has a very limited lifespan. If you see him pop you better haul butt over and pray he doesn't find a griffon.

I have hunted for many, many hours in NK for the last year plus. Tonight I saw him for the very first time. I didn't kill him but he still exists.

I have killed Midraim 5 times now as I have spent countless levels in and around NK. Seen Tiny (twice), Made a jillion cleric quest bracers, have all the superb hides, a few rings from Callowing, etc... I have seen Midraim by the gypsies (twice), in the northwest part of the zone, in between the druid circle and the wiz spires (twice). His drops have been 4 granite earrings and 1 pair of bent spectacles. I do not kill him anymore as repairing faction for these items is time consuming, *but* killing him has been fun :)

I saw him walking east on the path north of the gypsy camp last night...got the earrings...no spectacles.

I just killed this guy tonight, i found him walking northwest from the farm that is close to the druid ring. Got bent spectacles from him +15mana +5sv magic all/all

Does anyone know if there is a graphic for this item? Especially for a Gnome?
I would love a pair of glasses for my Gnome, even if they are bent.... =)

I've seen grimfeather, swiftclaw, callowing, zahal, and ashenpaw, but i've yet to see this guy. Hunted in NK from level 15-20, never saw him. might the "regular" guards be PHs by any chance?

I've been looking for this guy for a while, I need a little more info as to where does he spawn? I was once told he spawns near the gypsie camp, but I've been there for days and no luck, any help will be appreciated
