For those of you having trouble finding her, she only spawns after 9pm game time.
Loc is in The Qeynos Aqueduct System, part of which is known as the catacombs.
Default maps do not have her location specified. Brewell maps has "Smugglers" written in this location.
If zoning into the aquaducts from the Crow's Bar in North Qeynos, head east as straight as possible, then south as directly as possible. Watch out for a dead-end hall that has a one way drop. When it turns you back east, you'll be in the southmost circle room of this part of the map and just above where Brewell has a zone line marked (in another section) "to North Qeynos (East)".

As has been mentioned elsewhere, a courier will despawn at 8 PM game time; use /time to see the current time. I do not know how many minutes of Earth time translate to an hour of Everquest time (my enquiries in guild chat were met with disbelief that anything in the game still operated according to time, however the evidence before my eyes suggests otherwise).

Since there was no information about what Malka drops upon defeat, and I was majorly buffed after a chance encounter with a shaman from my guild when passing through PoK, I decided to test her mettle... and she's tough!

Malka Rale is able to backstab while face-to-face; if it weren't for the buffs and a healer merc this would have been no contest for Rale. And she will try to flee when her health is low, which is the reason for the post-fight loc.

Malka Rale is able to backstab while face-to-face; if it weren't for the buffs and a healer merc this would have been no contest for Rale. And she will try to flee when her health is low, which is the reason for the post-fight loc.

(Posted this on the page for Krynta Darkdagger too, but this page probably has more traffic, given that the last post on Krynta was in 2003)
Went looking for Malka Rale on my rogue today to get my 1.0 started...As I was looking for her I spotted Krynta Darkdagger in the middle of a hall at approx. 695.64, -16.66, -80.84. She stood idle for a minute, and continued her path; I decided to follow her to see where she was going, since I was having trouble finding Malka myself... If you stay with her, she will lead you directly to the room where Malka Rale spawns (Malka was up when I got there). She will leave the room and back-track to where I found her and stand idle for a little bit, and then leads you to a dead end very close to that hall. I followed her again to confirm my coordinates and to double check that it was a set path, and, sure enough, from the dead end to the hall, and then arrived at Malka's room again (The second time, the courier was up).
Krynta's approx. stopping point coordinates again:
Dead end: 734.12, 106.31, -80.84
Hall: 695.64, -16.66, -80.84
Con'd dubiously to my rogue (55 Dark Elf - Innoruuk) without Hide.
A side note: She may attack mobs that she walks through past; we passed by several, but only attacked and fought one (it was a giant sewer rat)...In that same room were a fire beetle and a sewer rat; the fire-beatle was right on top the rat she killed, but did not fight it.

For those using the new in-game maps this area is through the light blue tunnel, accessed from the red tunnel. This is the 14 closest to the guild masters and vendors. Tons of secret walls in this place. In Malka's room were 2 A Smugglers and A Courier. Several mobs wander in.
As stated, at about 8pm game time A Courier depoped.
Malka didn't pop right at 9pm game time... but did pop before 10pm

the Courier is not the PH.. He depops about 8pm game time. and Malka Rale pops about 9pm game time... hope it helps

This information is correct. Her altitude is at -80, not +80.

What level do you need to be before she will speak to you? 48 rogue here and she still wont talk to me...

does anyone know her spawn rate? Been standing in that spot for hours killing the courier over and over again and no Malka Rale.

Nevermind she finally spawned must be random but the chick wouldn't speak to me and said she didn't have time for pups. must be a lvl thing.

just for info for anyone wanting to take revenge upon her for deaths that happoned in your youth. she is completely immune to movement rate decreaseing spells I.E. root, snare. and as a lvl 52 bst I couldn't get a slow to stick on her. she hits very hard, and almost constantly, usually hitting for between 120 and 129, 129 seemed to be her max for frontel attacks. I didn't let her BS me I just ran when she had pet at 50percent after three heals and she wasn't even down to 90. tuff little twit, I recomend not tring to solo her unless you pretty high lvl and got great gear.
Speak with her and go through her dialogue to receive a Stanos's Pouch, a Rogue only pouch with 20 charges of Summon Throwing Dagger (must be equipped to cast). This is meant for the rogue epic quest, but is doable by anyone high enough level (I'm a 52 ranger, and she gave it to me).
Her PH is, I believe, "A courier."
