You can avoid the AE by standing in the far left cubby thing (if facing Saryn). Go to this link: http://www.eqatlas.com/planes/planeoftormentmap.html. Saryn's room is the one in the lower right corner of that webpage.

This should explain it. Did this last night and the healers get stunned a bit but it's better than being silenced by this damn bird...
Sorry for the caps on the subject but i really have no idea where to find this mob. Also what kind of force would be suggested to take this foo? If doable with (myself 62sk 66 cleric 66 enchi and 62 shammy plus whoever else comes along please post some positive info. I have been looking for single group targets so any useful info would be awsome. Thanks in advance =)
Just did Saryrn open-style last night, and the encounter has changed. Sorrow no longer does the AE silence thing. In fact, she doesn't even show up until the 25% health mark, at which point she's just a normally targetable birdy. She pops by the West window, close to the middle. Long as you get an offtank on her fast, it's NP. This event just got made so much easier than it already was :(
Sorrow Song, unresistable and lasts 7 ticks. According to spell info should also stun for 6 seconds. There didn't seem to be a spot where you could stay out of range so ended up running in circles to keep distance from this pesky bird.

Which unfortunately looks exactly like a windblade and all the million other blades out there. Would have been awesome if it looked like Saryn's weapon (even though it drops off the bird). I won't complain however because the ratio and speed is totally sweet!
