Update, this mob has been changed, It is Now Stunnable, I Chain stunned it 2 minutes ago, While my Dire charmed pet beat the bejesus out of it.. Everything near the entrance is stunnable.
I tried to charm this guy with my 64 charm "Command of Druzzil" but he wasn't having none of that. Kicked my butt. I grabbed an add mob that I had mezzed and charmed him. Halfway throught the fight i was at 50% health when charm broke, I made for the zone point and wound up needing a rez in pok. Ya, doesn't that suck. Can't use him for a pet, but when slowed with Forlorn Deeds, he slows "mostly" and my DC pet can tank him losing maybe 25-30% health. I do through a few 836 pt nukes in to be safe.
When casting slow on him I get this message: Your spell was successful, mostly.
Not sure exactly what that means, but it doesn't say he is totally immune to slow. I am a 58 enchanter using the lvl 44 slow "shiftless deeds" on him.
(If you're wondering why I don't use the lvl 57 slow "forlorn deeds" on him, it's because the mofos in the bazaar are selling it for 25k and I can't afford it. :P)
Anyway, hope my ramblings are of use to someone wanting to fight him.

BUT sitting during this fight is suicide. Being unslowed, and having very erratic agro sitting is almost always fatal for a caster.
The only spell I've discovered to land is cripple (disempower line of spells). Magic debuffs will not lower resistance. Whether debuffed or not, he will still be 100% immune to slows.
I have taken out these things many times as a 58 Beastlord with a 49 cleric healing. It' more then a little scarry but as long as I don't get added I can get them 9 times outa 10. Course thats with a bit of pet tanking but still.
Still haven't had the nerve to take one truely solo though. I think Spot might get pissed as me if I made her tank that long, good pet heals or not.
They both pop up the message "This monster is immune to the stun portion of this effect."
The thing is that I have a couple of different chat windows. The message from this mob appears in one of the windows for one flavor and in the other for the other. Doesn't really sound important, does it? Nope, except that when it appears in one of the windows, it's lying... The mob is actually stunned for the duration of the spell. When it's in the other, it's really immune.
I wish I could figure out what the message is classified as, and why they appear in different places. The only way to tell the two types apart is to try to stun it and see if it stands there looking stupid for a few seconds.
this thing was born pissed, it doubles for 500 often and attacks very fast. its agro sticks. i remember an enchanter who tashed it, this thing took a straight dive down to hit him in the middle of the battle when a warrior was taunting it the whole time we were all taunting it and 3 seconds agro the agro the chanter died. the agro is random and fierce, it seems to agro casters more often then melee when it can. beware of this thing, its very smart for an npc.
This place is weird with tash. When I was a younger chanter, late 40s or so grouping in POI, I could not tash these things. I just couldn't do it, because the warriors could not get them off me. (I know it's not resistable, I'm talking about I couldn't do it and live :) Now that I'm bigger, late 50s, I find that if I wait til 90% I can tash and debuff just fine. Maybe because the warriors I group with are higher level and have better taunts now? I don't know. But anyhow if you're a young chanter, new to POI, I recommend keeping the tash to yourself.
I am able to get a melee debuff on the archaic model, Listless Power from Beastlord spell line. It does not help much, but it is better than nothing, As this is the only one I have.
I suspect other classes should be able to get a real good debuff on this bugger.
Still, not that tough to drop for the level listed. 61 BRD, 60 DRU and 54 BST did it multiple times with ease.
Havent seen many spells land on this bad boy. Ya just gotta pound away and keep them from healer. Hits me for 150-300dmg and really fast. Got summoned by one while zoning took me around the corner so he could hit me a few more times lol.
Was immune to Apathy(level 61) mezz also. When I mezzed it simply said immune. Not the "with this spell" so I'm assuming he aint being mezzed for anything 8).
