These can also be bought in PoK from Nelin Signus, a little gnome tinkering vendor at 400, 830, in building.

I have seen these mana batteries at the gnome pirate camps in iceclad ocean hope this will help . was there when i died in CC with my bard 
was lookin for a wind instrument for invis song .

I was just looking at a vendor and he had all 6 mana batteries in the top of the vendor list. So I take this as a sign that they weren't just sold to him. As long as you have PoP you can get there. Go to Plane of Knowledge and over to the side of town where all the stones for evil races are. The building that has the caster trainers in it is where you will find this vendor. Go into the building and go through the door on your left.

Incase anyone is wondering about the price of the batteries like I was, at 135 CHA and no faction changes in PoK I could buy the batteries at 105pp each. Not too bad.

there are lots of kinds of mana batteries,,,class 6 is new with PoP and is for tinkering. class 5 mana battery is bought from gnomes in igloos in Iceclad and is for tinkered velious armor...it also recharges said armor..so am assuming class 6 will work the same for PoP...tinkering is my life:)

Well being that some of the new tinkered devices that need these to be made have charges, I would only assume using logic that a mana battery would "recharge" the device and replenish the charges. IE. the minimizing and maximizing devices.

I have always been under the impression that mana batteries did nothing,other than being used for tinkering, and based on the responses i would say thats probably accurate.

I found this on a vendor in Plane of Tranquility. Servers are down atm, otherwise I'd find him back and post his name/loc, but he's there. If I remember correctly, he was on one of the other buildings near the Plane of Knowledge port-in. I'll reply here if I find him again when the servers are back up.

I believe Mana battery are bought from the Key Master in Plane of Sky.

Mana batteries don't have anything to do with mana; (despite the name) assuming that this is in line with the other mana batteries, (which came out with velious) it is likely for some of the nice new tinkered items that come with the planes.
Says that class 6 mana batteries can be bought. if so, where? I know they drop in Plane of Innovation.

You can buy these in Bazaar, I usually have a few in stock. Try to get the tinker supplies tht are most needed. That's on Fennin Ro, but probably other servers have people selling them in Bazaar, too.
