Im a level 39 wizard just shy of 40. I just need to know how capable a wizard can be in the twilight sea zone. Is able to be soloed by a wizard? Or do I need a massive group to go get these items? Any info would be apprieciated for Iam brand new to everquest and this is my one and only character. And to be honest I'm having a hell of a time trying to level up. Very hard to find groups and even harder to solo most places

Since you can buy the marks/gems/other items for these quests, I guess they're not so bad, but considering that all of the items are lore, I doubt people will be selling them often.
There are much better gloves in the game, availble at much lower levels, that I don't see these being worth the time or money to get. In all honesty, these items are what I'd expect to see as the reward of a mid 30's quest. Not a high 30's - mid 40's quest.

Maybe I'm missing something, but what other gloves are there that are easier to get at much lower levels? I'm currently a level 37 Wiz and I'm still wearing Gem Inlaid Gaunts. Now I'm sure that if I saved my money I could buy myself something better for the hand slot but I haven't saved up all that much money. So if there is a better hand slot for a wiz that I could quest for at level 37, please post it here so I can go get me some. Thanks in advance.

Impskin gloves are much better and are attainable at level 25. They are also fairly cheap to buy now.
I completely agree with you Olurin. I, too, am a wizard who is still wearing Gem Inlaid Gauntlets at lvl 42. I like the idea of having armor quests before the lvls required for the Velious armor quests. I do admit, something could be done (30's quests or slightly better stats) to make it more worthwhile for me. I didn't do all of my Sol. Ro quests because I thought some of them sucked (i.e. Acumen Mask). I think I will do the same with the Twilight Sea quests and maybe do the quests for the stuff I could use more.

I think you need to rate this suit as a whole rather than the individual pieces. It seems that all the items are going to boost a wizards main concerns (Meaning Int and Mana) the other stats are just a really nice roundout to the character, but if the suit continues in the same general area's as the 3 posted items, it's going to turn out to be really nice.
