I'm going to assume your found you could get these by hailing the appropriate NPC. They are used in the SOD expansions. They function identically like a Luminescent Culling Vortex. The only difference is the consigned version is free off the NPC.

Your answer would have been more helpful, Yther, if you had mentioned the answer was at the END of the SoD Armor Guide in the "Other Good-to-Know Info" section.

Quote:

Say "Luminescent" to receive a Consigned Luminescent Culling Vortex (removes an Incandessence from a piece of armor).

In other words, you need the OPPOSITE named item to remove an essence. Thanks for the easy to decipher mini-quest, SOE. *sigh*

I gave a link, and Edit - Find in your browser would of you taken to the correct spot. If I had said it was at the bottom, and someone edited it and moved it, you would still have to find it. I could of even spent the time and space, and copied the entire thing for you as well, but what if you didn't understand that snippet, then you'd have to go back and read the entire article anyway.

If I had pointed you in the wrong direction, I could see complaining about it, but I responded and gave the page that the entire information was on. Giving the link, gives you all the information you may need to know about the said item and it's pertinent subject matter.

The only point I get from your comment, is I should of just ignored the question, and not helped at all. :-/
