These seemingly useless bracers are used in the Goblin Battlemasters quest. This is a low end quest offered in the FV Ranger guild. The reward is a random piece from the set of Faydark Ringmail; Low ac, + Cha.

The Goblin Bracer still drops in Warslik's from the battlemasters... anyone know if the quest still exists after the changes (years ago...) to FV?

I looted two of these in about 5 minutes.. and destroyed them as they appear to be useless... are these in ANYWAY useful?

A bit simplistic (and abrasive).
Strength makes you stronger, and increases your attack rating.
Agility increases defense (although not, I believe, while stunned).
Charisma, up to a point, and combined with faction, determines prices you get when buying/selling with vendors.
It is also a check when charming and mezing, and a check to see if a mob, on a failed mez, (as well as surrounding mobs) will aggro you, after the failure.

Are these things used for a quest? I think they are. If someone has any info regarding the quest, please post it cause I kill gob's all the time and see these a lot, but I just destroy them.

Same here, these on Rallos would be very nice to have to run around in while not fighting, if you get ganked it will be harder to do so, and they cant take them from you

Does anyone know if CHA affects the chances of Install Doubt working? This is a L22 Rogue skill that works like fear.

Give these to the ranger trainer (Captain Keater?) in Firiona Vie, must have amiable faction to complete. You will recieve a random piece of Faydark Ringmail. Each piece has i believe the same AC as regular ringmail and also a small amount of +CHA. I use the helm and sleeves (only pieces i have) whenever i buy/sell.

when turning the bracers in you must give Cpt. Kaetar four at a time. if you dont you have just wasted your time.

Im a level 21 Paladin and got two today solo. I sure don't want to try them on, they would spoil my good looks. I guess its good for a rogue?
My level 15 mage has several of these.

Theyre kinda common drop on the Battlemasters, but its not a Lore Item, I currently have 2 in my inventory....

It is kinda funny tha the murchants offer me money for them but will not actually do a transaction. My advice...If you get them you should just destroy them just pay for a set of bronze it is much better. Actually they are best for Sk because of the charisma hit which is good for the fears but otherwise sucks.

i found one on a goblin Battlemaster in Lake of ill omen and was blue at lvl 20

i have found one on a Battelmaster in WW and he was blue at lvl 18

well, if ur lvl 18 then it wouldnt be a suprise its blue to u. the minimum lvl is 14, ya know
