If I remember correctly, I've seen several of these drop off of the Sambata in Dawnshroud. Tribal Gatherers and the like. Granted, it's not the greatest drop in the world, but what fun would it be if everything dropped epics? (Um, well, Okay, I'd love to give it a shot for a day too. :))

LOL well, even though i AM a selfish, greedy bluebie freak, i believe i am right in saying that this is off track from the risk vs. reward. The point made about the giants dropping FS is valid, but you have to take into account all the other stuff coming out of Fungus and think - What really good things has an SG dropped for me lately? BTW i wasnt trying to complain, i am just pointing it out.
You guys seem to be forgetting that some mobs in the old world, I.E. Ice Giants in Everfrost/Permafrost are similar level and drop... Fine Steel. Yes, some of you probably have a hard time believing that level 45-50 mobs drop things in the 4-5 pp range but it's true. It seems to me that what Verant has done, and maybe they have said this already I just didn't read it, is they have filled in the mid-high level game with quest armor and some other pretty cool things.
yah they drop alot but the lvl is wrong ...the only thing is that They look different Just like the name states..i think i got 4 or 5 plat for it... but that is still better then a rusty nail in the eye lid
Sorry, but this is very off of the risk v. reward concept. Level 50 for a bronze long sword. I sure hope this ends up being a rare quest item or the zone and level are listed wrong. Or this could just be junk dropped by the mobs for the hell of it? Even so, seems a waste to me to have level 50's dropping crap.
