The T4 group bp is used in these 4 linked recipes. Purified Chromasteel Breastplate. NOT the raid version here.

As of this typing, the data above says that the Secrets of Faydwer "GALLANT-LORD" armor is used in tradeskills to make one of the three versions of Tier Four Seeds of Destruction Armor (i.e. Vested, Balanced, Chaotic).

The Gallant-Lord armor is RAID armor.

The T4 SoD Armor is NON-RAID armor... and also has significantly lesser stats.

I am pretty confident that has to be wrong.

Perhaps someone has confused matters.

The SoF "PURIFIED CHROMASTEEL" non-raid armor is the armor that can be converted into SoD T4 armor (which actually provides a minor upgrade).

On a side note, the SoF raid gear sequence is unclear and confusing. I have not yet found a definite, clear guide to it.

However, the "sequence" as best as I can tell... is as follows:

1) Acquire a Gyro Core for your class. There are seven (7) variants to these Gyro Cores, as there is one for each slot type.

2) Acquire the base raid armor. This is where it seems wishy-washy.

It appears you can buy a Un-cored Plate <SLOT> Template in DSH; or acquire raid dropped gear (Tier 1 Raid Armor?) called "STEEL-WELDED PLATE <SLOT>" (or as applies to your armor type) or "ANCIENT HARDENED <SLOT>."

The wishy-washy part is that the "Ancient" armor has better stats than the "Steely" armor, but supposedly combines into the SAME upgraded item.

Even more, you can by-pass the raid-dropped armor all together and just buy a template.

This just doesn't sound right.

3)Now buy a GYRO CORE EMBEDDER in DSH (combine container).

4) Next, combine the Core and the Armor item to make the Tier 2 armor... in the case of a Paladin, the RIGHTEOUS CRUSADER'S HARDENED <SLOT>."

5) Next, you need another raid drop in the form of a PRISMARIDESCENT ESSENCE. There are seven variants (one for each slot type) and they are all/all.

6) Then buy a PRISMARIDESCENT ESSENCE GRAFTER(combine container) in DSH.

7) Lastly, combine the Prismaridescent Essence and the Righteous Armor to make the GALLANT-LORD armor (in the case of a Paladin).

I went through all this because it seems that a lot of the data on the SoF Raid gear is confused, to say the least.

Any help with my assumptions is appreciated.
